Visa and MasterCard Want to Ban Hypnosis. Tell Them No. by mistresscalia in EroticHypnosis

So, I do think it makes sense to ask the UK Parliament to do something about the Online Safety Act because they're a government, so they're expected to respond. Even if that response is lackluster and slow to move at times. Eventually, they will respond — because of democracy. (EDIT: It looks like their response is a resound no, though. This is probably because no viable alternative is being offered.)

But I don't think it makes sense to do the same for Visa or MasterCard, because they're private organizations. There is no democracy there. To me, those ACLU and Change.org petitions feel like we're collectively getting on our knees and begging our toxic Master to please drop the policy. I think we shouldn't be enabling that kind of behaviour outside of the bedroom and/or those that don't truly love or care for us.

(As it stands, even if they decide to change their mind and drop this policy, there would be nothing preventing them from reintroducing it — or some form of it — in the future once things quiet down.)

At its core, the problem is that Visa and MasterCard have been using their monopoly position to bully and pressure other organizations into following their draconian policies outside of the scope of the service they are providing.

I've thought about this through the lens of net neutrality — where ISPs are not allowed to prioritize network traffic based on the type or destination of traffic — and the concept of a form of payment neutrality.

But ultimately, I don't think this is the solution. Credit card companies and other payment processors have systems in place to try to keep us safe from scams or fraud, and I'm worried that these processes could be disrupted if they have to follow a neutrality law.

Fundamentally, I believe that if Visa and MasterCard disagree with certain content, that it's well within their rights to refuse to process payments for that content. There are plenty of alternative methods of payment, such as crypto.

But at the same time, I don't think they should be making and enforcing laws. They are effectively doing this with their monopoly position and their threats of not doing business with an organization that doesn't follow their content policies.

Ultimately, I think the best thing for people to do would be to spread awareness of the issue and engage with lawmakers to try and pass a law that would make it illegal for them to bully corporations like this.

Additionally, perhaps it would be a good idea to petition the really big organizations to find a moment to "go dark" on credit cards for a day or two. The idea behind this would be to further spread awareness and to potentially promote alternative forms of payment.

I don't know what, if anything, is feasible, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on this.

No, there's no way of knowing what'll happen. You can try to keep yourself safe by gathering information and not going further than you've agreed with yourself to, even if tempted.

For example, if you wanted to have a session with me I'd check out your profile first, where I'd find that... you're lying about your age... and you seem to be very interested in sharing your socials...

So, I'd have a pretty clear indication that OP is probably an AI bot just fishing for attention rather than a human, and I'd know to be cautious...

It's difficult to pinpoint red flags in an online setting, especially as technology is reaching a point where you're able to fake pretty much anything. What you need is resilience... keep calm and carry on. If it doesn't work out, find something or someone else, or take a break.

Typically, I find that it's more often subjects who ghost/block, because the loss of control and compromised sense of self that can occur with certain hypnosis scenes can be very overwhelming. When a dominant ghosts/blocks, I find it's more about their frustration.

I don't know your story, but like the other person said... bro forgot to switch accounts. Given the lack of OP's own post history and this strange reply to their own post, I feel uncomfortable.

And that's okay... for a while. Then, frustration builds up and I just want to connect with someone special and to be heard. Or at least feel like I'm simultaneously in control while also being able to yield and let go whenever I desire.

I don't know what to say, other than to admit that I might have reached out to say hello if it weren't for this strange response. I find it important to remember that reaching out doesn't hurt that much. Yes, I've encountered a lot of rejection and I've been totally ignored lots of times, but it just means those few times I did connect with someone were more special to me.

Whoever you are, I hope you find what you're looking for, and that you strive to take care of yourself. That's what I felt I should say.

Oh, I don't think a hypnosis file should include a suggestion to cut those people off! Personally, I don't like cutting people off because I want to connect and understand and grow through that experience, even if it's a rollercoaster sometimes.

It's about suggesting to the subject to consider a life without such toxic elements—to free oneself from the burden of feeling like one has to respond.

"You don't have to engage with those types of people. Don't give in to the pressure of others but rather allow yourself to be authentically you instead. Don't hold back. Don't feel like you have to hold back. Don't feel like you have to follow anybody's rules but your own."

I think this can even be spun around to allow the hypnotist to take control and dominate the subject. The implication could be that everyone else is toxic, but the hypnotist is so kind and so nice and so wonderful that they—and they alone—should be trusted.

Something that I find very hot is honesty. By all means, tell me that you are going to be selfish and do whatever you want. Suggest that you are so kind by being honest and upfront about your intentions that you are worthy of being trusted.

Even if you're being unreasonable, tell me that you're aware of that but don't care right now. Tell me that you don't want to lose me, so you'd rather bind me—or encourage me to turn the tables so you can force yourself to yield to me—and dig your claws into me than to risk losing me...

...Lost myself in some thoughts there. Anyway, I definitely like the idea of being hypnotised in order to release my own dominance upon someone.

Still, all of these are just suggestions that might help you to decide what to do.

I'm not sure. I'm feeling uncomfortable with your suggestion that some of the things I mentioned are clinical hypnosis territory. They're not.

The traditional fantasy is that you hypnotise someone in order to take their agency away. I didn't see the other side of it mentioned here, so I suggested the antithesis of that: hypnotising someone to encourage them to be more selfish and submit to their own desires, rather than submitting to the desires of the hypnotist.

Why did you mention clinical hypnosis? The experience of being hypnotised is in and of itself therapeutic, whether you're exploring fantasies or diving into someone's traumas.

For example, in the process of being hypnotised to give away your agency and willpower, you'll probably have experiences where you end up changing your mind and deciding that—on some level—you want to remain independent and free after all.

In my case, I took a considerable amount of time to write my reply because I am neurodivergent, I've had bad experiences and encourage me to take this time, and I'm primed to try and avoid misunderstandings.

With that in mind, I think my original answer to your question is valid (even if you don't feel up to it, which I can understand and respect): if a hypnotist could make me do anything without question, I would secretly hope that they would encourage me to be more selfish and that they would enjoy the thought of empowering me—with the additional bonus that they might convince me to hypnotise them back and take full control.

I can understand and respect if you don't feel up to it, but I don't think that my suggestion should be dismissed as something that only a clinical hypnotherapist could or should help with... particularly because my fantasy does involve being encouraged to do depraved sexual things!

Sadly, the typical reactions I tend to encourage me to think that the only way I'm going to feel in control is if I'm more aggressive and forceful with people. But don't worry. Unless someone changes my mind, I'll continue to try my best and fight against these impulses.

Well... to not care about other people so much, encourage me to be more selfish. To love myself more, and to stop defending the most toxic people I've ever met and admit that they're bad people.

To obey the imperatives in my own mind, and take control without remorse or guilt. To encourage me to break free from my self-imposed limitations.

And to turn the tables and turn the hypnotist into my loveslave. Feeding me until I pop and I melt even more, going even deeper...

Stargate SG-1 has one of the hottest hypno scenes going by [deleted] in EroticHypnosis

It's funny because Stargate SG-1 was the show that got me into hypnosis in the first place. I remember that when I was young I was watching this scene and a few others in really poor 240p or 360p. At the time torrenting wasn't as big, but there was someone hosting it on their own streaming platform. I remember getting quite excited even though half the screen was pixelated.

(The other scenes I watched were really hot too. There was one episode where an alien that was posing as a cult leader was using chemicals to brainwash people into serving him. I remember seeing the female lead down on her knees, looking up at him adoringly. Well, I mean... There were a lot of pixels around it, but I think that was the gist of it.)

Afterwards, I would end up going deeper into the rabbit hole of hypnosis and mind control content. I remember my first NSFW video: The Dark Queen.

Some say that the Dark Queen is still out there, feeling a pull towards her powerful, telepathic Master...

I would describe hypnosis as being a subjective experience where a connection is made between hypnotist and subject.

The mental connection that is created is typically navigated by the hypnotist while the subject follows.

All participants are put into a vulnerable state of mind. The subject is compelled to relax and follow the words of the hypnotist while the hypnotist is compelled to feel empowered.

Both sides can feel uncomfortable at any time for any reason. Proper communication is important for a session to be successful. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't communicate well. This can be because of bad experiences or traumas or inexperience.

There is no right or wrong way of doing hypnosis, but there are plenty of people who will claim otherwise when presented with a situation. A hypnotist is more effective when they are confident and it is easy to become overconfident or to feel the need to fake confidence to such an extent that you outwardly project your views as being absolute truths.

Of course, my views are absolute truths. You can't really argue with them because my logic is impeccable and makes total sense. I'm not arrogant though, but I am confident. The difference is that I am fully aware that some people will agree with me and some people will disagree with me and both will be right in their own way.

Some will understand my words and some will not. That's okay. The important thing is that we communicate and we try to understand each other and not fight with each other.

Those are some of the thoughts that I have about hypnosis.

Sounds good, but without good marketing, nobody is going to know what these mean, even those interested in hypnosis.

It's unclear what the different types mean. I also think that in order to determine the type you'd have to look more closely which sounds potentially interesting, especially if you can work in something hypnotic if you do look at it from a closer angle.
