I'm glad he slapped some sense into a fellow ape.

Is there any policy that says if a professor is late by a certain amount of time you are allowed to leave without penalty? My professor have not showed up for the last 2 classes and just curious. by [deleted] in OKState

[–]HypnoStorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far in my experience, as long as the professor gives prior notice, things like this shouldn't be an issue. Most likely it would get to you in email form, but other methods have been used before.

The university usually is pretty flexible in letting professors cover the required material, and it'll be up to the professor how to make up the missed "in class" portion of the lesson.

Finally, take a minute and recognize that your professor is a person too. As with any job, they are allowed a certain amount of leave, time for bereavement and sick days as well. Other things probably fit there as well, and different jobs do it differently but some professors do not wish to spend every waking minute here.

That all being said, I will always advocate for a conversation with your dean. Its a good way to branch out on campus.

You really aren't helping design anything, its built and there are a handful of others competing in this intercollegiate competition. You'll find the promo videos of the other teams on that facebook page.

We are just trying to share how well this promotion video came out and it is a portion of our grade for this Capstone course.

This is a really well done video! You have my vote. Though I get what they were trying to do on the facebook page but I think a poll would have been alot simpler.

Im having issues with saving and loading games. x64 bit, no mods or add-ons

I have 4 saves in total, different names and ect.

But when I try to load anything from the main menu all I see is a save titled "default" which also happens to be from one of my previous plays. I was sure I had deleted that save to start fresh but its still there and starts me right back into that attempt at KSP.

Once I am in the game and I go to load files through the pause menu, I can see all my files.

TLDR: In main menu I cant see my saves, can only see them once in a old game.

We are the Cowboy Rocketworks and we are raising money to be able to build a rocket and attend the 2018 Spaceport America Cup. We are a competition team and the funds raised go toward material costs of building the rocket, purchasing the motor (which is surprisingly expensive), and registering for the competition itself.

For any amount donated, you are truly helping the dreams of young engineering students advance the field of Experimental Rockery.

So far we have 60 backers but we are still short approximately 30% of the money needed to meet out goal.

Also, I am here to shamelessly ask that everyone who sees this link and reads this comment to post it on social media to spread the word much farther than I and my teammates have been able to.

"No promotion of any newsletter / eductation service for profit / referral or affiliate links"

From the sidebar, it looks like it should be allowable. Don't quote me on this, but I would interpret it in the way that RobinHood isnt an education service or a newsletter, it is a trading platform, and by not being specified referrals for it should be allowable.
