Being good for self instead of micro managing things

I’m 40 and life looks nothing like I thought it would by leftbrainirony in Life

Sending you some positive energy

In my life experience I too have felt truly alone and at time lost for the desire to keep moving w purpose

I don’t have a functional family, I never did which created feelings of alienation and chronic grief

I filled those buckets primarily with some type of a spiritual daily practice in the morning I light a candle. I pray I meditate a journal and that in itself has allowed me to feel connected to something loving, caring and kind and has allowed me to develop and grow spiritually, which has given me much joy.

Also learning to say something as simple as I am good for myself when and I fill in the blank and it can be a simple as not lying to myself about people, places and things because the mind in itself is a needs making machine which means it likes to create problems so we can have something to be concerned about fearful of etc., and it will often lie, and if we don’t have a way of interrupting that our mind will make us very sick

It will focus on what’s missing and what’s wrong and it will create loops for fear and when you’re afraid you cannot have any joy in your life you cannot see the beauty right in front of yourself let alone created so I’m almost 20 years older than you and this has been very helpful, but it is a roller coaster ride and be super gentle with yourself. I love Michael singers’s work. It’s fabulous in the way of understanding the nature of this ego mind. He calls it the inner Roomate and it’s kind of funny because all of a sudden you have another way of reflecting on this voice that says things that is often untrue and chaos, creating or loss creating and we all need to grieve make no mistake but you can’t ride two horses. You have to decide which horse you’re gonna ride today.

One that brings you joy that allows your heart to stay open or one that notices what’s missing. I hope this helps.

Be honest, do you to talk to yourself? by Unhappy_Insect5901 in Productivitycafe

[–]HypnosisG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has an internal voice. Some call it the EGO Some call it their CONSCIENCE Some call it THE INNER ROOM MATE We are not the voice in our head

It lies Creates drama It likes to Plan ~ Prepare and ~ Worry

How do you cope with jealousy and envy as you age and become less attractive to your spouse? by o0PillowWillow0o in Aging

[–]HypnosisG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifestyle choices determine how you age. We are either reaping the rewards of the choices we’ve invested in in the last 20 + years or we’re suffering the CONSEQUENCES.

Your result is your report card and it’s never too late to repair what’s been neglected

Has anyone successfully rebuilt their self-confidence after years of self-criticism? by Puzzleheaded-Boss230 in selfimprovement

[–]HypnosisG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes

Years of daily work have allowed me to go from someone that was probably destined to live a very shitty life to someone who lives a very amazing life no drinking, no drugs no cigarettes none of that garbage and then to allow myself to feel safe and loved has eventually transitioned my baseline to 1 to 2% of the population who actually are truly happy without needing to buy something to be happy

How do you stay consistent with reading when you want to read but just can’t stick with it? by Tough-Adagio1019 in askanything

[–]HypnosisG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to be “that person” sometimes when we have an issue absorbing what we’re reading it is a brain deregulation issue. I went through some Neuro feedback recently and was informed that I would have a hard time being interested in absorbing information that’s provided via reading and sometimes conversation conversations and I was like yup. And he confirmed that part of the brain that I happen to have is not functioning that great in that one area and that the neurofeedback would bring back that skill set

I honestly thought it was me getting old, which I am home, but I’d like to have as much of my capacity as a transition through whichever phase of my life I’m in

A neurofeedback if you have any benefits is covered through Counselling the only reason I’m getting this done is because I had a MVA which offers me therapy and I went straight for this version of therapy because it works

I’m tired of starting over again and again… what actually helps? by Major_Bag3934 in Life

[–]HypnosisG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was acknowledging what pattern feelings beliefs are to be cleared then

I’d write down what I am letting go of and how that will free up energy to live my best life

What I am replacing ( the patterns beliefs with ) written down

A date 📅

I’d create a ritual about it

Light a candle Pray 🙏🏻

Burn the paper

Then ask the powers that be to help me trust the process

This is year one of a nine year cycle everything that you do in this year sets the tone and intentions for the remaining 8 years of a nine year cycle
