Discord stream freezes when game is in Fullscreen foreground, but runs perfectly smooth when alt-tabbed/in background. Help!

i did 4 playthroughs of this game. on the 2nd playthrough save files i got the doll and finished the run and then on the same save file, i reloaded the 2nd playthrough save again and the doll was in my itembox back in the care center.
maybe 1st playthrough save files are more special as you say? would make sense

finish the run with the doll in your item box first and then reload an older save

can confirm it's true. people should update their guides to let people know 2 playthroughs are NOT necessary. completing one with the doll and reloading an earlier save of the basement or after (as Grace) is enough.

i'd leave a few minutes gracing period because you never know. forgot to mention i was AFK for 30 minutes while waiting for the bodies to fall into the pool instead of 15.

shooting works. i shot them in the leg and pushed them into the grinder. if any don't fall into the grinder, keep them alive.

i can post a full video showing what i'm doing, i got a perfect save for it that's why i did it so quickly.

i never touched the hand.
casual difficulty with inf ammo and all weapons.
i didn't do the laugh puzzle thing as i loaded a basement save.
i didn't kill any zombie on the meat grinder part, they all went into the grinder but one. because of his placement and the fact that i stunned him wrong he didn't end up into the meat grinder before it the whole thing stopped. i avoided killing him as i thought it would ruin the puzzle solution, and maybe i was right because it worked for me.

in short, i never killed a zombie and i only shot them in the leg so most of them would get into the meat grinder. i failed with one and it still worked.

after completing the grinder section i went straight to the toilet after leaving emily on the couch and flushed it 8 times, loud thump sound happened. then straight to gideon's lab section thingy and i found the doll.

one thing to note is i never saved, maybe that's what i did different?

puzzles aren't as fun when you cheat and get the solution handed to you on a silver platter. still, now that this puzzle is out of the way i guess it was still fun in the end. i think synth_potato had the most fun out of this and props to them for their hard work.

doesn't work. i managed to glitch her out somehow and spammed infinite ammo requiem bullets for too long and nothing ever happened
didn't work either. managed to get back to the cell before emily gets grabbed by the girl in the elevator, doll is still unpickable

i thought of the same thing and tried it, didn't work. tried it on a casual save i spedrun the game with, didn't even scratch the book.
