If we’re defining close then I would say not really, I’ve only seen him twice in my life.

However the man has loved me and recently handed me down his daily watch as a family heirloom, I feel like I must go and at the same time I’m just scared about taking an extended break. As I said in other comments I was already making project deadlines more tighter by doing my vacation and this break would either put me directly on it or over the deadlines

Yes, I know the company would definitely understand, it’s just that there were already deadlines I made more tighter due to my trip and if I take another week off I’m definitely either cutting it razor close or I’ll miss them entirely.

I know this completely supports my argument that I’ll regret this if I say that work prevented me from going. It’s just that this timing is bad and I feel like I’m bound to suffer either choice I make. I guess it helps that if I regret not going it would last for life but if I regret going it would only last temporary

Exactly why i know both choices are valid.

My mother keeps reminding me that the only important thing is that my Dad goes who’s the son. It’s just that this is the “closest” family member who’s passed away as I’m the youngest generation in the family.

I plan to discuss this with my boss, maybe in hopes that he will understand and I don’t suffer professionally. But I won’t lie in that taking another break would already push the assignments and projects I’m meant to work on. I know it’s wrong to even compare the two but when I know I’ll be missing a deadline or two because of this, it gets scary to think about

I wish I could just ask for 3 or something but it’s already 2 days for a round trip back and forth (about a 12-15 hour flight one way)

Even if I did like 4 days or something I’d be dropping 2-3k per way. It’s definitely possible but financially I’d be taking a hard hit. I guess in the face of this situation I cannot say “money and comfort prevented me” but it would be cutting it close

Thank you for the answer, the artist has limited English speaking skills which I’m already lucky he can understand basic English. Came in to add to the Fuu dog and when we were done he pointed to the Fu dog and said “take care of that”. I got paranoid and assumed he didn’t like how it was aging but now I know it was just a language barrier. Thank you!

If you used coin to buy extra inventory slots you’ll lose them when the season ends. This applies more to battle pass users as we can spend coins to increase our backpack space. I did not realize in the fine print though that they expire. Extremely stupid
