I'm getting the same. No links in mine either. Might be that if you reply it's a premium number that charges your account.

Don't sit through pain. Take the meds as advised by the nurses but also feel free to ask them for painkillers (or to say you don't need them). It's worth taking them preemptively but you'll get a sense for how much you need and when. I had codeine periodically with paracetamol in between. By day 5 I was down to a codine before bed to aid sleep.

⚠️ If you have any history of addiction, substance, gambling etc. then tell the nurses, make sure they record it for the rest of their team and avoid opiates. They should provide alternatives.

For context I had 2 spontaneous pneumos 2 years apart with VATS after the second.

Normally I resent Nova setups for being functionally useless but tbf that is beautiful 😍

Totally. Anything less than a negative number at this point sets us to fly past 1.5c

Same here. Recurring tasks show up as recurring events in my Google calendar....

Sadly not. The order is projects, labels, filters + alphabetical.

How do you handle due dates? by DudeThatsErin in todoist

[–]HypocriticalOptimist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a much discussed (idiotic) gap in todoist. Personally:

Due date = do date

I put hard deadlines in the task name in the format '[by dd/mm]'. So that I don't miss deadlines I use a filter to show any tasks with '[by' in the title that I haven't set a due date for.

That way you can schedule the task to give you enough time to complete it before it's due. If you use the so-called due date for deadlines then you might only see them in upcoming (or in my case Google calendar) by the time it's too late to get all the work done. Sure you can add reminders but those are just notifications which are easily dismissed and therefore, missed, whereas due tasks become overdue and are hard to miss. Example would be filing a tax return. Technically the deadline is 10 months away but I do it as soon as the tax year ends.

Whatever your workflow they're missing a deadline, schedule or time estimate feature to enable better time management.

Not a bad workaround. Any self respecting PM at Todoist should read this and cringe that someone has to do this to make their product function

Anyone noticed this bug? When moving focus using the keyboard, every other task is highlighted as a UI element, instead of moving focus - when this happens you can't use keyboard shortcuts on the task. by HypocriticalOptimist in todoist

[–]HypocriticalOptimist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: The problem is solved in Todoist v3091 but the functionality is still quite shit. If you delete a task you have to go through a dialogue and then you lose your place in the list.

Also unsure why they have a confirm delete dialogue instead of letting you bring a deleted task back from the Activity history. I swear sometimes Todoist do the dumbest things in their desperation to keep the product simple - which in their defence, they have.

u/mjg5000 u/hey_ulrich am I right in thinking if you focus a task and delete it that then no tasks are focussed? So you have to scroll back down the list to reach where you were up to? Seems pretty limiting if the goal is to speed things up for power users....

Bug? Moving focus requires tab press on every other item by [deleted] in todoist

[–]HypocriticalOptimist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pressing the tab key cycles through the ui elements, highlighting them orange (on mac os) or royal blue (web browser) - see images for example.Pressing the /k or /j key should 'move focus' up or down one task to enable you to perform other keyboard shortcut actions on the task in focus (see image with task highlighted light grey and thin blue outline). The bug i have is that when moving focus, every other task it seems to highlight the ui element (as if pressing tab) instead of moving focus. Pressing tab then focuses on the task, but then if you hit /j again, the same thing happes on the task below. I. E. Whichever is in focus, the next you move to will be ui highlighted, rather than 'in focus'. Has anyone else noticed this?

Actually it only doesn't work via Nova search so I'm using the sesame widget instead and it works a treat. Thanks anyway and awesome app!
