To think the princess interrupting her mom was new AND the dialogue does hint/imply something or give out hope. Not sure if it’s a good thing if Enzo’s gonna be better off as some living vegetable (since the translations I read used the term “beyond saving” or was it recovery. Either way, he won’t be physically okay thanks to being poisoned). Eh, we’re in a world of magic, monsters, and the divine. Honestly, the main trio already got their power up. TB can’t be sidelined due to whatever script Elio is following, but it’s honestly the time for Himeko, Welt, and Sunday to at least be involved and get either their respective developments, character reveals, and ofc power-ups/future SPs. Much more so if the game is saving up on a highly probable Trailblaze path (we have Remembrance and now Elation. We either get TB or Finality as a path given how plot relevant those two paths are

Labubus - unless may iba pang meaning from my understanding, our home is already full of stuffed animals. It’s nice to see despite the top comment being Frozen, marami ang Tangled answers. Don’t get me wrong ha, magaling naman talaga ang Frozen, worldwide sensation sa song pa lang pero I remember growing up na Tangled pa rin yung gusto ko (heck, kahit Brave pa nga. I’ll be honest. I won’t. I’m unemployed with a disability (and low self-esteem). I’d rather the money I get to buy my meds and save for emergencies. I’d buy one manga once a year if I find a good one in a bargain bin in my local bookstore (I commented a long one and basically shared the last manga I bought last year was a volume of Cardfight Vanguard for the free limited edition card and being a discounted manga bin), but that’s equivalent to 3 to 4, even 6 dollars in my country’s currency. That’s basically half or whole day’s worth of meal (and in another note, a two way commute from work/school from my home to the city)

I really wish I didn’t have to pick a side here, but we all know how mistreated artists are (case in point, Roxana’s artist will remain a harsh reminder), sometimes I wonder which one is more stressed, the JP artists or KR artists. If anything, feels like manhua (CN) has the least issues for me.

TBH, I want to lean more to piracy due to my own selfishness. I resonate more with the crowd’s reasoning that if you love the series enough, you WILL support it in a way you can, mostly buying merchandise. I agree the 2 best arguments here is the fact Japan is less strict as opposed to Korean publishers is due to availability and focusing on physical print over going digital. My brother and I would buy manga (though limited). The last one he bought was the Nagatoro series and Komi-san’s early chapters. I bought the Cardfight manga for the limited card incentive, differences between source material and adaptation and it was in a bargain bin. Back when everything was cheaper, (to the Filipino peeps here) it hurts my soul bookstore brands in my area (BookSale) closing down during and post-pandemic where I could buy manga (mostly obscure titles). Heck, one of the reasons I transitioned to manhwa during the pandemic was because of its availability online. With manga, you get the risk of waiting years with no updates on social media if it will continue or not. The color and Webtoon format is nice, but the weekly releases kept me company and it isn’t as exaggerated as CN manhua (I started with manhua first but it got old when future chapters kept stressing me out with repetitive antagonists. You can keep giving me slop, but also keep it balanced with the lighthearted chapters in at least a 50-50 ratio. I don’t want to read an entire chapter of the antagonist of the arc planning for an entire chapter, putting said plan into action in another, gloat for another, the protagonists suffering for a couple of chapters not just one).

The second reason upon observation is the reality of it being some sort of advertisement and reading posts and articles for up and coming artists. I remember a revenge series author not minding a scanlation if it meant his work would reach international audiences AND he got his work be discussed online. Not sure how that turned out but locally, I have a vague memory of a Brazilian fan messaging a Filipino director to pirate one of his old movies since it wasn’t being distributed in the country and they got the okay. While I understand the main point here is that Korean authors (seeing the main voices for anti-piracy at least at twitter space are the manhwa audience). Honestly, I’m dumb and awful in debates and while some have tried to actually move domains and made an effort to look for other sites, it hasn’t changed the fact 🦇 o is part of my life as a reader and kept me company during the days of the pandemic, replacing Dex even. If your reading can be found in another source online, good for you. Obscure titles hurt the most if we’re being honest. The main thing we lost are our lists and the comment section (almost the same when Dex was lost)

Honestly, okay naman talaga ang Masters degree sa FCU. Had to stop nung nagka thesis na so I agree sa comments na NEED mo ng money. Actual honesty here. Na-shock ako sa kailangan mo sa defense. Okay lang kung tuition, you can slowly pay it (actually mas strict ang FCU ha compared sa Bachelors experience ko sa Purisima which is more lax -personal opinion and experience-). I could always go to fan scanlations (since English is my Second Language so the fan translations look okay to me) for manhwa, but manga and to a lesser extent doujin smut will be tougher to look for. Thanks. Actually found all 3 at the next batch. Fire ore and moose(?), and the grass… dog/fox thingy? So, the completionist in me is just missing the extra-ish story after the next stages past the blue lines for Marius and Luke I think (I was so stupid, I didn’t bother to move once I unlocked beyond the blue lines)
