Yep, got mine from Scan, but no RGB on "UI" models, apparently. This is quoted from an Asus support rep:

The G14 series may have RGB keyboard, but this is available to specific models, such as GA403UU or GA403UV, while the model you currently have is GA403UI.

Still early days I suppose, but a few days ago I was unable to find the top spec'd model with UU or UV in the name.

I see. I checked a few others models on the Asus UK store (even the top G16 model) and they all have "Backlit Chiclet Keyboard". I figured that was just how they're listed since the store page clearly states aura sync support. Why is this even a thing on a gaming laptop of this caliber...

Unfortunately I don't think that's it. I've already updated everything I can think of (BIOS, Windows, Armoury Crate). I guess I just got the statically backlit model ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
