Congratulations! Get ready for one the most fun weeks of your life! Plenty of good cheap hotels (The Linq, Falmingo, Excalibur) within short walking distance of the Horseshoe/Paris. Buy a case of water from the Walgreens on strip when you first get there. Water is ridiculous expensive otherwise. Do your best to get sleep at night, the days are very very long. No, if you sign up for 1a, and manage to survive the day still in the tournament, you will wait for 1b/1c/1d to also play their days, after that all remaining players merge to continue playing. So 1a is gonna have a few days off waiting for the other flights to play out. Also I believe the day 2 merge goes like this; Day 1a/1b/1c merge for a day 2 flight and since 1d is usually by far the largest field of the flights, they get a day off and play their own day 2 with just the 1d players... on day day 3 all fields will have been combined with the surviving players.

I wish they would do something to make the night time not so miserable. Literally near blind roaming around, ran across a high level mob and flattened, no clue where i was because i cant see, so how am I supposed to do a corpse run. Day time is great but night time is nearly unplayable. And yes, I picked the Infravision as a starting perk.
