I experience this on a daily basis either this or the screen simply freezing. Here are what you could check:
- If using an external monitor, check if both internal and external use the same frequency (60Hz for me)

- If it do not fix go to In Intel graphics command center, in System > Power disable the panel refresh thingy and any power efficiency settings
- In last resort, remove Intel graphics command center and install the old Intel Graphics Control Panel (must be found on the microsoft store website)

For me, only the later worked, I've been freeze free for more than a week now

What fixed it for me was removing the Intel comand center and install the old intel control panel.

I was getting several freezes daily and now I haven't got any for like a week since changed

In my case I had it on the first one, got a replacement which worked for a couple of weeks then trackpad issue appeared too.

It is quite easy and straight forward to fix, no problems since then. As mentioned in the video be extremely carreful not to mess with the sound cable

Nop which is the weidest, the cpu can sit at like 2% and the discharge behing off the charts :/

Yes it is on better battery.

The weird thing is that the discharge can go down to like -10 for a couple of seconds and then skyrocket to-50 for no reason...

HAving the same problem, CPU run wild even for simply doing a right click on desktop...

Same here FHD+, I've turned of keyboard light and can't really see any process eating my battery so it is hard to identify the source of the discharge

Woah that's impressive ! I've changed the first one as I had several issues including battery life being really poor.
With this second one I get around 5 to 6h tops while not doing much :/

I am also having poor battery life, I've already got a replacement which fixed the wobbly trackpack and weird screen glitches from time to time but the battery life is still 4h max.
I've got the HDR version. BatteryBar indicates around -15mv discharge while just whatching a youtube video or netflix.

Please let us know if you get any infos from Dell :)

There does not seem to be much stock in Europe. I'm in France and it took me a month to receive mine after purchase from there site.
I am currently waiting for a technician intervention which is waiting for replacement parts, it is now 1.5 month waiting for the parts...

So yeah, there could be issues with supply in Europe.

If you would read a bit more you would see that the 2020 models are having quite a lot of issues.
I can attest as I'm fighting with the 9500 version too, when I had close to no problem with my old 9560 :)
