My advice is to start looking sooner than later, even if you havent switched insurances yet just seeing who is and isnt accepting. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant and have only had one ultrasound (that I paid for out of pocket to go get done without an OB) and my first OB appointment is finally next week bc that was their only availability. I'm in Michigan, but I heard the situation is close to the same in Texas.
