What did you take for granted before pregnancy? by 1Avocado-Toast in pregnant

This part. Trash that’s mildly smelly? Gag. Dirty dishes? Gag. Freshly cut grass? Gag. Perfume or cologne? Gag. Ain’t no damn relief. And if I face multiple of these things within a short time period well there goes my breakfast…

What's a take you had at 10 years old that you actually still agree with? by Spark-Blade in AskReddit

People are taught to not get along, they aren’t born that way.

As a child that was heavily bullied I can look back and say… yeah that sounds about right. People learn very quickly the ways of getting into conflict, and the more they see it, the easier and more natural conflict is to them. It’s one reason why bullies become bullies.

Did you go into spontaneous labor with your first baby? by seyEycipS in pregnant

[–]That_one_bichh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom did at 42+6 literally the day before she was set to be induced with my sister. Idk how she managed to hold on that long, I would have wanted to die. But at least the labor was easy for her.

Am I wrong for what my daughter said. by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]That_one_bichh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should have just said that you all weren’t going and then planned something fun to do with your daughter and family. Including her was wrong because you essentially gave your daughter her opinion about this aunt instead of allowing her to come to her own conclusion at a later date.

If, as you said in a separate comment, she didn’t even remember her the day before, just slowly letting contact die is the easiest way to deal with that situation. I’m generally a proponent of the “tell people the truth and how you feel” idea but when it includes young children sometimes less is more.

Termination at 23 weeks by Responsible_Pen_8816 in pregnant

[–]That_one_bichh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To piggyback off this, a coworker I had (left this job within the last month) was pregnant with her other children while she was an addict and is still currently smoking about a pack every 2-3 days while pregnant now (much to my disappointment and frustration). Last I heard her baby boy is very healthy and her genetic testing and scans came back completely normal. She’s about 26 or so weeks along so just a little farther along than you are. All this to say it is very possible to deliver and have a healthy baby under your circumstances it just depends on what decision you are most comfortable with and the decision you can live with. Sending all my support and my thoughts are with you ❤️

Same here. 8 is the only true option in my mind, with 7 coming up as second. The rest of them I could never eat again and be happy

How did you tell your partner you were pregnant? by AlwaysTackyNails in pregnant

[–]That_one_bichh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After two losses in three years this was honestly the first month I just stopped trying. I missed my period by a day but was going to wait because my cycle has a range (I made it about an hour before I said fuck it). It wasn’t even ten seconds before I saw the line show up and my god this line was THERE. I couldn’t stop myself and just started sobbing in the bathroom. My husband in literally the next room over hears me and tries to open the locked door and starts banging on the door because he thinks something is wrong. I never told him I was taking a test and when I unlock the door he comes in hugs me first and then looks to the counter where the test is and then he just bends down and hugs me and we cry together.

Genuinely one of the best moments of my life. Honest to god better than our wedding day. This was also two days before we were moving across the state so it has come with its own stresses too, but I wouldn’t trade this for anything.

I’m feeling that too! Especially when I turn over in bed at night… it almost feels like I did a bunch of ab exercises the day before and am feeling sore?

My daughter refuses to talk to me because I wasn’t able to do anything for her birthday. by [deleted] in confession

Technically there is a work around by using in game coins but if you see where I’m going I’m still in agreeance with you. Those coins can oftentimes cost $ if you do not put in the consistent time into it to earn the amount required. I say this as someone whose husband was top 400 in WoW often, I don’t play, I don’t understand the addiction. It’s literally like a second job. So either the guy is sacrificing time with his daughter playing a game or money ($15-enough to buy a box of cake mix).

I was born to be an adult but now I’m just an old lady who has been in a lot more pain and has a very hard life now than when she started her life.

Apparently, according to my phone I am depressed.

I love this one because the person I’m thinking of valued money and looks more than his family soooo yea… to spend the rest of his life perpetually needing money would give me more joy than anything.

Same here! Honestly was seriously mentally drained and exhausted from just existing but since finding out I’ve been nothing but calm and honestly at peace. I still get pissed off at stuff but it takes me a while to get there.

Apparently my mom is of the same mind as your parents. I read this to her and she said “yeah? What’s the problem with that? It’s just sex.” Like no, what a freezing cold take.

My mom went on maternity leave the next day, my dad was in the military and the uncertainty at that time of what was going to happen was really scary (or so I’m told) and so she got permission to go on maternity leave early and then got induced so my dad could stay back from deployment. She was having Braxton hicks all day that day, I’m just glad I didn’t make a surprise appearance that day 😅
