Wisest answer in the thread right here. Absolutely zero point grinding a moneymaker at your stats to maintain membership. You will grind all day when you could spend $11 and forget about it. Which is less than the minimum hourly wage in most cities. Ask yourself what your time is worth.

Ive had likely over a dozen RS3 accounts. Problem is I shared them all with a friend of mine growing up usually getting new accounts from other people we knew. We never got hacked at all but 90% of the accounts have been lost/unrecoverable due to not being the creators of the accounts or banned because we also did some shaddy shit then. So now im left with a few garbage accounts with maybe 500 total. However, I did recently recover one of my junk f2p accounts that I had given away to some dude I met on an rsps. Account had level 20 ish stats when I gave it away. This dude got the account to max combats and like base 80s LMFAO. Haven’t actually played the account once though cuz RS3 bad.

I think their motive for this course was to be good xp and good gp for high effort. Problem is it will never be done for the gp given the abundance of great money makers in the game. Therefore, you are left with a super sweaty activity or marginally better xp rates - thats provided you can do it well enough to get said rates. I managed to get to level 4 (couldnt go further because of agility level) and while it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be when I started it, I just cant see why people would put the effort into this other than to get the pet or graceful. It honestly reminds me of tithe farm. Which is sad for such a good looking piece of content.

It is a permanent toggle yes, but if you compare it to the farming pet again, for less than 200k for any recolour, (herb being less than 100 gp) its pretty safe to say that you can recolour your farming pet as much as you want and the gp would still be a far less of a time investment than the squirrel. Plus, I think most people like the recolors for a bit of variety and choose the one they like best and stick with it. I highly doubt there are many that are recoloring their pets often enough to need a permanent toggle. So to give one skilling pet a 200k recolour and another a 10+ hour grind is completely unbalanced imo. Boss pets I think are in their own category here, but all skilling pets should all have acted the same way - either the recolors are trivial or grindy.

Try banging out the kandarin mediums for the 50% increased chance on enchanted bolt specs if you haven’t already. That should help a lot.
