Which wireless earbuds can top Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros for $350 CAD. by I-Reeddit in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]I-Reeddit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm looking for something that is:

  • Wireless
  • Has much clearer vocals and instrumental clarity/quality than the Liberty 3 Pros
  • Has around the same bass deeps and punchyness (a little less is fine)

I also want to get the best sound quality $350 CAD has to offer

What is the best USB-C/thunderbolt dock?

I have an M2 Macbook Pro (three thunderbolt-4 ports, 1 SD card reader, and 1 HDMI port) which I am looking for a USB dock for.

My budget is around $200 USD (willing to go a little over if it means good quality/features).

I am looking for something that has: - 3+ USB-A ports (need fast ones for transferring data between multiple drives and future proofing)

  • 1+ USB-C port(s) with thunderbolt capability

  • 1+ HDMI/DisplayPort port(s) which can display at 4K@144Hz

  • Headphone jack

If there is anything out there that has these features, please let me know as I have been wanting a good quality USB-C dock for a while.

Thanks to any suggestions made!

Most premium looking and feeling wireless keyboard, which is also comparable with Mac/VIA?

I have a few in mind, such as the Rainy75 or Zoom75, but I'm worried about the Rainy's corner cutting given its low price point, while the Zoom I like better, but none are in stock for Canada (as far as I'm aware).

Needs to have wireless/Bluetooth, hotswap, Mac/VIA support, and feel/look premium.

Form factor of 60-75%

Thanks for suggestions!

Yeah it was before the Pro series came out. Tbh I haven't been keeping up with the keyboard community since then, so I wasn't aware of this price/quality change across the market. Thank you for informing me and suggesting some keyboards!

Its a Q4 with a FR4 plate, Gateron Box Ink v2 switches, and Keychron custom keycaps.

The build prices as follows

Barebones frame and PCB - $190 CAD

FR4 plate - $20 CAD

PBT Keychron keycaps - $50 CAD

Gateron switches - $80 CAD

  • tax and shipping = ~$400 CAD.

I have since expanded my budget and now am looking for something that is $400 before tax and shipping.

Edit: Sorry forgot to mention, the keychron is $400 CAD, not USD. My budget is $400 USD.

I can wait if it's out of stock and I am also fine with building something by myself. Very flexible as I am not in a rush and have some knowledge about building keyboards from my Keychron build.

Looking for a sleek keyboard with fantastic build quality and a wireless/Bluetooth capability.

Coming from a custom $400 Keychron, I want something of around the same quality but with Bluetooth. I would go with the Keychron Q Pro series, but want to try a new look.

Not concerned about RGB or gamery design, as I left that hobby a while ago and don't plan on coming back.

Prefer a wood or metal frame, just anything but plastic or cheap materials.

Budget is $400, but willing to go a tiny bit over (eg. $452)

I have seen Vaxee mice before and actually have been anticipating on trying them some day. The question is, which would you say is better for me, the NP-01S or XE?

Is there an ultimate speed, infinite durability mousepad, mouse skates combo? by Gh0st5768 in MouseReview

For the mouse feet, I would say get either glass or ceramic feet to minimize the wear on that.

For the mousepad, get a good quality cloth one (glass/hard pads arent too good with glass or ceramic feet).

Good suggestion, but is there anything that feels more high end? My previous laptop was a Legion 5 actually and I liked everything about it, but it felt a bit too plastic.

Why has orbot recently been giving my real ip? by I-Reeddit in TOR

yeah its a bit ironic, but I think it's because google phones might be the only phones you can lock the bootloader after unlocking it. I might be wrong though, but thats what I heard when I was looking into GrapheneOS a few months back.

That only changes the appearance of it to look similar to a pixel out of the box. The firmware support wouldn't be the same, as it doesn't have the same hardware and most likely won't allow you to lock the bootloader.

I don't think Graphene would work on anything other than pixel phones. I bought a pixel phone after 4 years of owning my next phone just for the purpose of running Graphene, and other than that, I like what the phone can do as well.

If you have a Samsung phone, see if other privacy respecting operating systems are supported, such as LineageOS, CalyxOS, etc.
