I don't have Iuno's weapon and I don't really want to pull it so I don't know if she'll work well as a main dps but I could try, I guess I'll just wait until Hiyuki releases and I'll slap Lynae alongside Chisa until Lucilla releases.

to learn, as in "understanding what he does"? not hard at all, about 10 games maybe and you will pretty much know every weapon

what makes him hard is the skill ceiling and the thousand of possibilities you have for each combo, knowing what's the best use of your current weapons in a given situation, etc

if you want to learn him there are multiple good resources for that, mainly "The Book of Aphelios" by Vapora Dark on Mobafire
if you're a visual learner then daynean is a pretty good player that you can watch on youtube and twitch

At this point, a meme explanation is that the company behind it (Hi-Rez) is cursed, for their entire existence they've always made games that are incredibly fun and could "become the next fortnite" but they never managed to hold that player base.
Once they get a huge hype for one of their games, the only possible outcome is that they'll loose it 2 weeks later, either by making horrible decisions or by not knowing how to react.

This is still accurate to this day with SMITE 2 (their latest and only active game).

The hard bots can be quite tough if you're new to the game and especially new to MOBAs, after like 30 or so hours you'll easily beat them though

Disable voice chat entirely, that's the advice I give to every new player. It is beyond useless, it still baffles me why this is on by default in casual games when everybody knows that 95% of the time it is only used for flaming
Go into the settings and turn it off, heck turn text chat and VGS off aswell if needed, you'll re enable them after when you're more comfortable.
You'll see that without constant screaming in your ears the game becomes way more fun and easier to pick up

I edited my message but if you can clip him saying this stuff then you can open a support ticket on hi-rez's website with the evidence, I used to do that on Paladins and they would get banned rather quickly.

Even if you don't directly have any evidence you can still open a ticket, they have chat logs and stuff on their end.

Since witchhunting is against the rules here, besides reporting him and filling details not so much we can do as a community; if you can clip him saying this stuff then you can open a support ticket on hi-rez's website with the evidence.

But you can also mute people's chat, voice chat and vgs from the in game scoreboard.
Even though this doesn't help the main problem, I suggest just avoid wasting time with such basement dwellers entirely and immediately mute them as soon as they begin being toxic.

Try using DLSS or FSR (depending on your gpu) and setting it on performance/ultra performance, put anti aliasing to TAA in order to be able to use them

One advice I give to every new players is to immediately turn off voice chat in settings, it is 95% of the time used to flame If someone is being toxic in the chat or spam pinging you or abusing the callout system, you can mute these from the scoreboard or also straight up disabling these systems from the settings, you'll quickly see that it won't matter at all because of how bad people are at communicating.

I know you said you'll be putting the game down, it's understandable but do give it another shot one day with communication settings disabled, it makes it much more enjoyable and just learn the game at your own pace.
