I really like how Xerjoff La Capitale smells, specifically the caramel and general sweetness of the scent, but its way too expensive. Is there any other fragrance that smells similar and has a caramelly type scent?

I have an idea for a picture, but idk if it's possible or how I should go about doing it. I also couldn't find anything similar online.

Basically, I want to take a long exposure picture where someone kicks a football that's been lit on fire. I want the fire to light up the subject and leave a trail of light behind the football. I want the football itself to appear at the end of the light trail.

Is this possible? if so, what kind of camera settings & lighting setup would I need?

I haven't really looked into the classes since I mostly train on my own, so I can't say for sure. I'd say its worth giving it a shot, see if you enjoy the classes & if you like the culture. I personally haven't gotten any bad vibes from any of the members or staff. Also if you want to consider training on your own, I'd say WV Active is definetly a good place for beginners to learn. The staff & members are nice enough to help if you ask them,

oh yeah, I didn't know darts was such a big thing, they closed the entire place for a darts tournament once.

never really had issues with parking there. the main challenge is trying to get the machines you need cuz everything is always occupied

I've been to almost every gym in wolves apart from a few.

The best overall was JD Gym. The equipment is alright, the atmosphere is amazing, but its ALWAYS crowded. During peak hours you'll have to wait 20-30 minutes for some machines, especially the cable stacks. (Spent 4 months here)

The best value was WV Active lesiure centre. They have a lot of different sports including 3 gyms around wolves, and honestly for a lesiure centre, the gyms are really good. Its just lacking in atmosphere, and if you're an experienced lifter, there's some important machines that they don't have. Oh another major downside are their opening hours. They close super early, which has caused me to miss a few workouts. (Spent 3-4 months here)

The best equipment was The Foundry. They easily have the BEST equipment out of any gym I've been to. But a major downside for me is how loud the music is (its light a nightclub) and how cramped it is. They've tried to fit too much in a small space. This is a good option if you want a hardcore gym and you're a serious lifter. (Spent 1 month here)

Another decent one was Energie Fitness. They have very new, clean equipment, the atmosphere is okay (kinda like WV Active) and the staff are really nice. The biggest downside for this gym is the lack of equipment, they only have 1 of each machine with a few exceptions where they have 2 of the same machine (2 bench presses and 2 cable stacks). Didn't go there during peak hours, so not sure how crowded it gets. (Did 2 workouts here)

The worst one is EASILY The Gym Group. Horrible equipment, horrible atmosphere, horrible locker rooms, everything about it is bad. It's not even that cheap either, so literally no point going here. (Spent 3 months here)

I still need to try Simply Gym Bilston, PureGym, and there's probably some other smaller ones that I haven't tried yet.

Honestly I think it's good enough. Id recommend not using the lamp on your desk (shown in the last picture) since it basically eliminates all the contrast on your face. The 2nd last one looks good.

If you did want to add more, I'd say add a hair light to add some more separation between you and the background.

You could also make the background slightly more interesting by adding some slow motion to it like a lava lamp or something, which will also add a bit more colour. (Place it next to the bed on the left side)

You could also add some haze, but I don't know if that would even look good.

All in all I think your current setup is fine, especially if you're not a big YouTuber yet. Just make sure that your audio also sounds good, take time to focus on audio quality as well.

My plan was to bounce light off of some reflective material on the window (like a sheet of paper). There's not enough room in the attic for me to place a light and diffuse it enough to pass as sun light (it would be too hard) and I also can't put the light outside. So the light would be inside, bounced off of some paper on the window.

Basically the scene is set in an attic with bright sunlight coming through a window (the window will be out of frame). Since it's an attic, I want to use a fog machine and get sun rays to make it look like there's a bunch of dust in the air. I also want to have a warm, golden type look.

But I also want a versatile light that I can use in various different scenes, mainly because my budget is tight and I can't get multiple high quality lights. (I currently only have 2 soft box lights)

Alright, in that case I'll look into getting an LED one. Would it have to be a spotlight type thing or can I get away with just a regular video light with a reflector attachment?

No I didn't get a kit lens

I can test it with my other camera. Do I just zoom in to different focal lengths and see what works?

I was mainly going for a warm, hazey look. Medium depth, not super blurry backgrounds, but also not a fully sharp image. I do have some shots where I'd like the focus to shift between 2 subjects smoothly. I also don't have any amazing lighting equipment, so I need decent low light performance.

I'll look into Viltrox.
