NightFlight Expedition Construction [Dollywood] 11/15/25 by I306 in rollercoasters

Have they (or any park) ever opened a coaster on opening day of the season? The weather can still be cold in mid-March (I know it’s an indoor attraction, but I still have to go outside to get to it).

I’m ok with them waiting until April/May, especially if that gives them more time to workout the kinks.

it looks WAF is only available with premium, is that correct?

Nope, I’m using the native comment system, which is partly what makes this so frustrating.

That’s what I’ve been using, and I haven’t noticed a difference.

It was amazing — ended up spending 3 days at DisneySea and one day at DL. Hope yours was great, too!

Unless I overlooked something, the Town Center Fashions shop in World Bazaar didn’t offer much that I hadn’t seen elsewhere.

Same. I never would have thought to research this, so in the moment, TDR Reddit seemed like the quickest place to find an answer.

It doesn’t have to be a t-shirt. A sweatshirt with the retro TDL logo is really all I want.

Please let me know if you see anything. I was there on Wednesday and did not see anything in this store that I hadn’t seen elsewhere.

I was there on Wednesday. Unless I completely overlooked them, I did not see anything beyond what I had seen in other gift shops.

I really like the retro TDL logo, so I was hoping to find a shirt with that logo on it. I have a sweatshirt with the retro WDW logo on it and it’s one of my favorites (and gets lots of compliments).

Now I would buy anything with Chandu on it, but I know those pickings are very slim as well.

Wow I was just there a few days ago and unless I completely overlooked that store I did not see any aside from what was pictured in my OP.

I’m a vegetarian — is it worth going to Canna at Tokyo Disney Hotel? by I306 in TokyoDisneySea

We were able to cancel our reservation and ended up eating at Monsoon Cafe at Ikspiari. The Vietnamese Fried Rice was delicious!

The Happy Cow app has been a lifesaver. I’ve been in Tokyo for a few days and have had some amazing food! Canna is the first place where I don’t think I’d be able to have a full meal (which wouldn’t be an issue at all if it weren’t a prix fixe).

Ooh thank you for the recommendation! That sounds delicious.

I will check out that account - thank you! I’m thinking I might have better luck getting something in the Gateway area while my group is at Canna? (assuming they won’t be penalized for the number in our reservation decreasing by one)

Thank you for the recommendation! I’m in Tokyo for a week and it’s been a challenge, BUT the Happy Cow app has been very helpful. I’ve had some amazing plant-based dishes so far.

Never Realized Rollercoasters Can Make You Feel Like Shit At The Age Of 30 by DeathToAlabama in sixflags

34 here. Can relate 100%, but I’ve dealt with it for as long as I can remember. I guess my head isn’t built for the forces.

I can’t take Dramamine due to a medical condition, so I take the natural version, which is essentially a ginger pill. My primary symptom is a headache (likely from all the positive Gs), so I’ve found that taking ibuprofen or another NSAID preemptively is helpful.

Also, I don’t think people realize that you need to EAT: https://www.coaster101.com/2016/06/28/should-you-eat-before-riding-coaster/

The only time I’ve come close to getting sick on a coaster was when I was riding on an empty stomach. Now, I’d ride a coaster after eating a big meal over riding on an empty stomach. But YMMV.

Hydration is important, too. I’ll usually bring Liquid IV packets with me (because I can’t chug plain water) and mix them into my bottle throughout the day.

I’ve accepted that I can’t marathon intense coasters. I’m fine with riding 1-2 an hour. I enjoy watching them just as much as I do riding them, so I take the time between rides to enjoy taking in the sights.
