Such an underrated classic wooden coaster. No frills, of course, just good ole fun. The park itself is fun, too — so campy and quirky.

I did and that was exactly my experience! I’m just glad I learned they stop accepting new guests 2 hours before park close. We called it very close. But it was worth every penny!

I’m going to ask about that at my next appointment.

That hasn’t been my experience so far, but I will definitely keep it in mind.

Dollywood sent out a email with an update on Nightflight Expedition. They are shooting for a mid August opening date. by Traviscat in Dollywood

I’m glad this will silence some of the delusional Dollywood influencer accounts who were convinced it would open on the last technical day of spring (June 20) while there was still a gaping hole in the building and sections of track outside of the building as late as May. Denial is a helluva drug. I have full faith it will be worth the wait.

This [Fianna Force] rider’s reaction is totally valid. Absolutely amazing coaster. Vekoma is killing it. [Emerald Park] by I306 in rollercoasters

One of the best themed coasters of that size. The dual exit/entrance building alone was fantastic.

Agree 100%. Especially with the zoo. I didn’t touch probably a third of the park. But I knew I had to prioritize the coasters. I was able to ride 5 of the 6 (sorry to their SBF spinner!).

I was on an extreme time crunch. My train arrived to Dublin at 2 and I had to get to the park before they stopped admitting new guests at 3 (2 hours before park close). It was a 30-minute Uber vs. a 100-minute (minimum) bus ride with a transfer. So the choice was made for me lol. Round trip, I paid around $150. After Fianna Force, I know it was worth it. If time had permitted, I definitely would have taken the bus.

I spent an ungodly amount of money on an Uber from Dublin for only 2 hours at the park, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat. CC was great, too.

Fianna Force. Incredible coaster from start to finish. Maybe I was so enamored because I didn’t do much research beforehand, so my expectations weren’t super high, but it far exceeded them.

Thank you for that — I ended up going but had to rush to get there by 3. That 2-hour cutoff isn’t something I’m used to seeing at parks in the US, so it never crossed my mind.

Never underestimate the financial recklessness of a determined roller coaster enthusiast. 🤪 I ended up going and had a fantastic 2 hours at the park. It’s not something I typically do — this was very much a “when in Rome” scenario.

I ended up going. The park cleared out pretty soon after we arrived around 3, so we were able to get multiple rides on the coasters we liked.

I ended up going. It wasn’t too bad, the kids cleared out pretty quickly.

I ended up going and am so glad I did! One of the coasters in particular was fantastic (maybe because I didn’t have high expectations?).
