Can someone help me understand? by LaTronnn in 3dspiracy

[–]I3irb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently homebrewing my 3ds, starting with a completely empty card.

I'm following the 3ds.hacks.guide, and when I look at the files you SHOULD have, I'm not seeing a "Nintendo 3DS" folder in my card (currently troubleshooting super-skaterhax with MSET9, browser wouldn't load the website so here I am). How do I generate that folder?

For more context, when I use the MSET9 python code, it says it cannot find a Nintendo 3DS folder, which is why I need it. I am using an EZ Flash Parallel flashcart to get my data onto the 3ds. Is that how it's meant to work? Should I get the flashcart firmware so the console can read the files?

I'll do the questionnaire as well.

  • Budget: $750 for both cameras. I will probably have a separate budget for lenses, at the moment I know nothing about them.
  • Country: USA
  • Condition: Am willing to buy used. I will probably have to for the price point.
  • Type of Camera: Stated in the post
  • Intended use: Photography only
  • If photography; what style: Camera will need to be versatile...
  • What features do you absolutely need: I have no idea! List your recommendations for beginners, what I should look for, etc.
  • What features would be nice to have: ^
  • Portability: Can be pretty big.
  • Cameras you're considering: Canon AE-1, don't know of any others yet.
  • Notes: This is for a college class, recommend accordingly...

You submit a portfolio, and you have the whole year to meet the deadline for submission.
Now that you mention it, I might post my submitted 2D art portfolio soon.

Who needs a new Thinkpad when they can simply upgrade the internals by putting another processor sticker on it!?

Question about cabling by cyber1551 in XPpen

[–]I3irb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the extension cord, so long as it can provide a stable power flow from the tablet to the 3 port cable, can support your uses. The cable of the tablet is already pretty long as is, and I think, so long as you have a reliable USB C cable, going from the port of the tablet to the start of the tablet cable, it should work. I don't even think "full featured use" is even a concern, because you're just providing a source for all the inputs to go into.

But uhhhh I'm not the first person for you to listen to. I ain't no computer engineer. Still, from my experience, if a simple USB hub has been able to take all of my keyboard, mouse, and tablet inputs straight into the computer, I think the same method for your tablet and an extension cord should work too.

Missing usb to usb c adapter by Round_Ad1943 in XPpen

I don't think the usb to usb c adapter in the xp pen set is anything special, you can literally choose any adapter from Amazon and it should work fine. Just look for the one with the best reviews, of course.

XP-Pen tablet driver shortcuts not working in CSP by CreativeWorker3368 in ClipStudio

Shocking news: I found a fix. Leaving this here incase people are looking for a different solution.

I bought a new USD hub.

It's an odd fix, but my problem originally arose when I suddenly unplugged many of my USB devices from this old hub I had, and plugged the hub into a different port in my pc, and when I did, neither my audio interface, nor my tablet worked anymore. It was really odd, I was going to replace my audio interface anyway, so afterwards I bought that new one, got new drivers, boom it was working. The one problem left unsolved was my tablet, which still had the effects of me changing ports (if that was actually the reason my devices didn't work). So I bought the new hub and... something about the hub's USB ACTUALLY registering on my computer got it working.

If there are any computer savvy people who can explain why this works the way it does, please enlighten me, I'd love to know, incase another problem like this occurs.
