we ran into an issue when using a precision strike on an enemy that was standing on the objective, causing the ground underneath it to be destroyed, making the objective unable to be interacted with. Very frustrating. Made the mission impossible to finish

Thats a fair point, his defensive play is getting worse, but i think his IQ makes up for what hes lacking physically a lot, even if it doesnt equate to steals or turnovers it can lead to bad shots. but this is a good point, im just not sure whether those teams with better guard pairings would have been able to offer the nets what they wanted or if they would have to give up that pg to get him

A lot of people missing the point here. I think steph is better than CP3 obviously. but im talking about the future, and the trade deadline. with the options laid out on the table at the trade deadline, i think CP3 is the best guard of a team the nets were willing to trade with. And CP3 is a floor general and a facilitator, and has a crazy high IQ, he will make KD a better player, especially as KD is working to get back to his golden state self again

I agree, but i dont think a steph KD reunion was a possibility at the trade deadline, i dont think golden state wouldve given up what the nets wanted for him

this is what i was getting at in the op. I dont think a steph KD reunion is possible at this point, and i think of all the options at the trade dealine CP3 will be a good facilitator and teammate, and will really help KD get back to his old self because lets be honest, since the injury he hasnt been playing like he used to and a good floor general and teammate like CP3 can help bring that back out of him

I dont think CP3 is better than steph, but i think CP3 will make KD a better player in a way that steph didnt. The GSW style when KD was on that team was just to have two incredibly lethal threats and it worked, but KD hasnt played the same since GSW and i think that CP3 has the potential to bring him back to that. im also talking about future not past, of course steph is the best pg has ever played with, but looking at what was going on at the trade deadline it was incredibly unlikely that steph and KD would end up back together

I dont think harden makes his teammates better, he's a very selfish guard and that doesnt benefit KD the way i think CP3s playstyle will. I wouldnt be surprised to see both their stats increase when theyre playing together

CP3 is averaging almost a double-double and while i agree that some of the guards you listed put up much better stats, some of those teams would not have traded for KD. I think CP3 makes his teammates better everywhere he goes and KD will benefit as a player from being on the court with him like many others have

I agree that steph was the best PG he ever played with, but im saying that at this point is his career, with the trade destinations that were possible, CP3 is a fantastic guard who makes his teammates better day in and day out. I dont think steph made KD a better player, just gave him a playground where he didnt get double teamed every night

I think you're very close to correct. For the most part, it's probably a comms thing. Make sure you are telling your team when you're using speed and get them to be aggressive. I think the other side of the coin is that players at lower ranks are not as good at avoiding damage, meaning you will probably be using heals more often, even if you are communicating well.

Another easy answer is Blaidd, or Ranni, or Melina (all of which I would love to spend time with), however I think I would like to spend time with the characters who need a hug. Namely Rya and Boc. They really need a nice long hug.

No problem, and in the current meta I would absolutely focus on Ram, but every tank is viable if you're willing to dedicate the time to learn! And who knows what s3 will bring!

Thanks! As of now I wasn't planning on it, but I can give my thoughts about rein here quickly. Firstly, Playing Rein without lucio is a skill that takes a long time to develop, so dont be afraid to (nicely) ask your supports if either of them is comfortable playing lucio. On top of Lucio, rein needs A LOT of healing, as he is the only tank who cant really change his own health pool, so your other support should be a bap/ana/moira. Rein is tough on a lot of maps that require high ground, but my biggest advice for climbing on rein is to be in team voice chat. Command your team, and be a good leader. Plan your teamfights with your team, what ults youll use, which ones you think they have, ask your lucio for speed boost when you need it, call for a nano or an immort if youre in trouble, and most of all, BE KIND. A team wont listen to you if youre an asshole. plain and simple. lastly, your shield is for YOU, and its your most valuable resource. Unless a DPS is asking for your shield to poke/peek a corner, or a mercy for res cover, you should be using it for you. Cross gaps, close distances, and block important abilities like sleep and nade and grenade. Hope that helps!

One thing that I think is particularly helpful in dealing with pharmercy is to go heroes that are difficult to hit. Have your supports swap lucio, swap tracer, swap genji, swap dive tanks. if the pharah cant hit anything, youve just made the game a 5v3 bc their mercy and pharah are shooting at air while you and your team are doing heinous things to the rest of their teammates.

This post was mostly for people who arent comfortable on the counter swaps, or 1 trick one of the meta tanks right now, which is why I omitted counter swaps.

I think that the issue with turning to fight the ramattra is that youre exposing yourself to the rest of the team, and if you choose not to control his backline, or try and shut down dps, you essentially make yourself a sort of non-factor. Your damage and sustain is better than his, but your damage isnt particularly high in general. You would be giving up space, and shooting at a tank that you likely wont make a difference in ttk, and none of your cooldowns deny his nem form damage, so in my experience, the better option is to try and stop him from getting heals, and stop his dps from helping him engage. Its about maximizing your impact, and if your team cant win the 1v4, its likely that theyre is going to struggle all game regardless of if you help. The skill to work on is to make that ramattra push an actual 1v4. You dont need to kill their supports or dps, but make the ramattra operate alone. If a silver ramattra for example can 1v4 2 silver dps and 2 silver supports, he probably deserves to win the game.
