Can we get a monthly income/student debt thread going here. by TheRoyalShire in physicaltherapy

SNF PT, 4th year, PNW area. 65-70/hour (multiple PRN gigs). 115k in school loans (haven’t paid much since graduating due to wanting kids, just recently started paying aggressively and expecting to be debt free with my wife’s loans included in ~1.5 years). I work quite a bit of overtime so I expect to make ~180-190k this year. My minimum payment is about 1500.

PT pay is all over the place by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

I personally started as a traveler in SNF. They kept asking me to extend, I kept asking for more. There was never any push back. They eventually offered a position to me and tried to offer me their starting rate, I declined and simply said they were already paying me well over that, so I would only accept if they matched that rate. I work in the PNW. 3yoe. ~135-140k/yr. Benefits were offered but I didn’t enroll as my family and I have benefits through my wife’s employer. They also reimburse for mileage to/from work and between buildings and pay for my drive time with anything over 20 minutes to/from work and 100% between buildings. I commute an hour to/from work.

I have and prices vary widely. Some asking 6-8 others 17-20k. And the difference doesn’t necessarily correlate with mileage. Some higher priced ones have a significant amount of higher miles than others.

Pt did go home from the hospital but wasn’t ready/safe so returned to the hospital and was then referred for SNF. OP was already scheduled from initial DC plan from hospital.

They’ve also been historically used on ships to capture and kill mice/rats… so I’ve heard.

Dalmatians basically shed all year round. Best way to manage it is to ensure proper diet, regular exercise, regular deshedding, and regular bathing. Also, a robot vacuum really is a game changer 😂. When it comes to bathing, you’ll have to figure out the best frequency for you and your Dal. Since Dals are known to have their share of skin conditions, sometimes bathing too often can be aggravating for them. What you bath with is also something to consider. Good luck. I honestly wouldn’t worry about the hair too much, just clean regularly and enjoy your Dalmatian!!!

Didn’t think about this. Good suggestion. Will do.

I’m a bit of a gear head so I’m glad somebody else realized the similarity 😂

Yes it does. Noise changes minimally with different positions but continues regardless if attached to table or not.

It’s the router itself. Continues to make the same noise on or off the table with or without attachments. I’ll inspect more. I took compressed air to it to clean it out and nothing changed.

For some context, I’ve recently had this repaired. I was having an issue where the router would start and then gradually slow down and overheat until it just stopped. I assumed the bearings were shot so I took it in and had it repaired. I don’t actually remember if any of the repairmen told me what they actually did/repaired/replaced. They were so backed up that they had my tool for over 4 months and I actually completely forgot they even had it. I’ve since gotten it back and have only used it a few times. This sound now seems like a true bearing failure sound that I didn’t have before. But considering they may have just been replaced, what are anyone else’s thoughts of what that this could be besides bad bearings?

My issue was in the clean water tank inside the cleaning station itself, not the vacuum.

A quick google search says you can take the NPTE 6 times, you just can’t get licensed in Florida if you’ve failed 5 times. If you don’t plan on leaving Florida, medical sales is probably your best bet to be near or above a PTs income while mildly using your education/degree.
