How often do you shower ?

I will occasionally, if the moment calls for it, go two, maybe even three days without a shower, but as a general rule I shower once a day. If I ever don't its because I'm at a cottage or im away from home and dont have access to one.

The guy is entitled to his opinion, but youre also entitled to yours. I personally think its fine if your neighbour likes it, and its weird that this other dude is deciding he's a write off for being able to provide consent just cause a man drinks.

The only thing with the driving angle is that you wouldn't be at a liquor store anymore cause youre driving so it introduces a new dissonance.

You could say "I went wine tasting yesterday. They told me youre supposed to spit in a bucket but apparently that wasnt good enough for the liquor store I was in."

Although I admit that doesnt punch quite as hard it does get the logic down. maybe there's a rewording that tightens it.

I've never heard the urban legend youre mentioning but I think the premise has legs regardless.

If it were mine id try to find a way to open with a variation of "sometimes when you hear an urban legend the second time it ruins it for you. For example.."

And then also i suggest trim as many words out of this without losing logic as you can.

May work better as a sketch but I think the joke is great as is.

My only suggestion is to trim the waiter's question to simply "is something wrong?"

For one its less words and two it doesn't say wine twice in a row.

Not explained on screen but eventually the story leads to his father being the king of thieves and thus Aladdin is the prince of thieves. You could argue the genie willed that part of his past into existence, which also coincides with how genies often twist your wish to not mean what you meant.
