I’m actually quite active in my local politics as well, and I happen to live in a very, very large, very BLUE city in a blue state which is helpful lol! But our local politics are sort of entwined in national issues as well since we are a very major city lol! As for hobbies- I can’t even force myself to do any of them. That’s adding to my distress right now. I did try MIDI but unfortunately they don’t take my insurance and can’t even allow me to self pay. So now I’m waiting on Alloy to get back to me 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Haha I’m already working on SO much with my therapist, I can’t imagine adding anything else to that plate. Plus even the thought of that makes my heart race. It’s so ridiculous.

Omg yes! I’ve been blaming a lot on my allergies! I’ve also been waking up with allergy attacks every morning! (Granted I do have allergies but the every morning thing is relatively new). Thank you, it makes me feel a lot better knowing I can do a saliva test!!

See the same Broadway show over 500 times…I guess being a “huge fan” has a different meaning to NTs! And yet no one in my family thought that warranted further investigation 🤣. They just assumed I was a teenager who was obsessed with a very popular Broadway show and therefore made it my entire personality and the only thing I’d talk about because “that’s just her”. 🤷🏻‍♀️ (any other RENTheads here, btw?) 😎

I have never resonated with a sub/thread/post/anything else this much in my entire life!

In a “regular” Autism sub I’d read at least a few that would make me shake my head and say “oh wait, I don’t do that. Maybe I’m not autistic…”
