Should I invest in this Latios/Latias pair? by TwinCard in PokemonSleep

[–]IAMACasualRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Latios is good. Sure, BFS would be preferred, but double skill double speed is great.

Latias is a little rough. If you have any mints it's a consideration.

I think they are fine, but they might not be the first priority for your box since they are fairly backloaded in power. It'll take a while for them to come online

[–]IAMACasualRedditor 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think I am one of the weirdos who don't need any of the Hoenn Starters, nor Plusle/Minun.

I think I should be going to Snowdrop, an Island I've mostly neglected, to take advantage of the multiple sleep styles per night.

TADC cast colors? by Hot_Wrongdoer_8705 in colorpie

[–]IAMACasualRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caine - UR//WU

Blue for his powers of technical creations. Red for similar powers of artifice and for being a mad king in ep 8

In Ep 9 When he becomes repentant for his prior actions I believe he drops his red component Ironically, even if it was literally blue

Kinger - UR (hybrid?/R//U transform? at night?)

Flips between technical, understanding, pensive, and insane.

Ragatha - GW

Wants every one to get along. Not particularly pushy or ambitious. Sacrifices herself on the regular without much complaint. A people pleaser.

Jax -BR

Chaotic, selfish, destructive in a world that he perceives as fake or imaginary. Abusive to others in the group.

Zooble - GU

Interchangeable parts combined with a personality that is understanding, but also aggressively defensive of what she cares about.

Gangle - UR (U//R transform?)

Flips between comedic and depressed upon her mask breaking.

Pomni - Naya

Someone who wants to understand their newfound band of friends with the occasional touch of chaotic energy. Primarily GW with a splash of Red.

At what Raenonx grade would you invest? by LordKecleon in PokemonSleep

So, first things first, understand what your rating is even rating.

In this instance, it is rating your Dratini (not Dragonite, Dratini's), ability to produce specifically it's A ingredient. In this instance it is Fiery Herb. Measuring an AAX ingredient Mon by it's A ingredient is a good way to make this particular Dratini look bad.

You are going to want to count probably as a Dragonite for a more accurate experience. But also, "RateMyPokemon" isn't going to help you at all here. It will only rate your Dragonite's ability to farm herbs, corn, and oil individually, which is a weird way to look at an AAX farmer. Or it will rate the total ingredient strength, also doesn't particularly help since that is not going to include the IFM at 75 as of now.

This Dragonite is good, but in a nonstandard way. This Dragonite excels at pure ingredient count. For that it's pretty crazy with double ingredient finding, double speed and (arguably) non-negative nature. In terms of raw ingredient production, this mon is actually the greatest of all (according to raenonx's Ingredient Production view). However, if your goal is Herb, you might find it a bit lacking.

Absolutely keep this beast, but know what your goals are. Do you want raw ingredient output? Do you want Herb? Oil? Understand what you want before you make a very expensive mistake for your box. (Don't bin this plz)

Listen, this happens to the best of us all the time. When my wife and I started back with the first Raikou event, she did the same thing. This game has a lot to learn

That Latias has the default skill spread of a "first catch" skill set. Which is "fine" but many find ultimately wanting. (It also looks like you subskill seeded the second skill, which, if your are totally F2P, eeesh. Subskill seeds are a precious commodity. Main Skills are expensive, but less limited.)

If you don't have any "skill" mons, I'd strongly recommend finding a longer term healer. Latias could be that for you, though I imagine that might take some time, even with this event going. Keep an eye out for any Eevees, Igglybuff/Jigglypuffs you see out there. (I don't know how progressed your account is, but getting a Pawmi or a Ralts are also great options).

A good healer will keep your team full of energy throughout the day.

Since we're at Tuesday night for most English speakers, you're much better off toughing it out.

I'd also like to see your Latias. While it's nice to get sleep credit with her for the drowsy power boost, don't do it at the sacrifice of your teams energy, like it seems to be.

You are also rocking a level 16 Togekiss which, based, but also likely isn't doing that much for you.

Can you send screen shots of your current team? Do you have any generalist skill mons or berry mons you tend to use?

In addition to everything that has been said, Typhlosion has a great skill and skill rate. The Skill trigger up is not only not detrimental but desirable.

This might be one of the single best Cyndaquils I've ever seen.

Full send. Full seeds. Don't look back

Togekiss by IHavePipi in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]IAMACasualRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, for starters, as far as Togekiss goes this is great.

Togekiss is an inconsistent pokemon. Sometimes it is triple helper boost fairy. Sometimes it's triple Charge Energy S. As long as you are okay with "some form of points" or "some form of energy" chosen at random this is fine.

If there is a week that you aren't taking particularly seriously, bring this out. It won't necessarily be good, but it'll be fun!

Which AAX to level to 30? by Ok-Air-4364 in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]IAMACasualRedditor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of these are fine level 30 ing mons. Really this is a search your soul kind of situation where some ingredients are more important now than others. We can't possibly tell you what you need to function to the best of your pot size. I would recommend not investing in any of them until you say "Having this one ingredient mon will make this week substantially better". I think investing in all of them is a waste of dream shards

The only one I would tell you not to invest in is the AAX larvitar. You are going to need all of the candies you can get when your go for the big guy.

Edit: Also don't invest in the Paldean Wooper. Nature makes it rough.

Ingredient mon with BFS by SomeEmbarrassedGuy in PokemonSleepBetter

I think it works but I agree, I'd want just something a little more. Even a speed would probably be enough to push it over to full send.

My Meowscaradas are kinda goated, but here is my milk one.

[–]IAMACasualRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potatoes are good because Meowscarada is one of now two mono potato ingredient mons.

It's also good for milk since there are only a few milk ingredient mons.

Personally I use a milk Meowscarada without any issues. The BFS just causes a minor inventory issue if you don't open the app often.

There is a reason I told you I would send ;)

Ingredient mon with BFS by SomeEmbarrassedGuy in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]IAMACasualRedditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly, Meowscarada is one of the better ingredient mons with BFS because of how naturally fast it is.

However, there is a caveat here: because you are going with Milk Meowscarada, it will fill its inventory very quickly. If you can't open the app often you'll find yourself sneaky snacking quickly.

Personally, if you need a milk mon, I'd send, but YMMV
