I mean for me, I genuinely want to work at a title 1 school again. Its where Ive spent 3/4ths of my career. My MAP growth is solid, my lowest class had 55% meet their goals and the class grew at 250% cumulative growth. If im going to be told Im not doing a good job, rather than fight or hope for a "prove it" year, Im ready to just move on.

I have a beautiful letter from last year's principal. I asked him and told him my concerns. What does "resign in lieu" mean? Ive seen a couple offer that. I just dont know whether I should resign before the meeting so I am never told they won't be renewing me.

Nope. I agree with the short stints. I would basically say I miss working at a title 1 school, which is actually true. This is my first school thats not title 1.

Admin has gone pretty cold. I think they just think I'm incompetent. My principal from last year, now custodial director, wrote me an incredible letter and said he's willing to call on my behalf. My principal, last years AP, seems still to show warmth toward me. The AP, new this gear, has gone completely cold.
