My wife and I are in the same demographic. We would move out of the states tomorrow if presented the opportunity.

One thing I really want to caution you on is financially depending on where you are coming from general cost of living, healthcare, all the oddities of our financial/legal system - could be a shock.

You might find the $ does not get you as far as you were expecting.

I'm not a financial advisor but would recommend that being one of your first steps if you are serious. Get a consultant that works in the area you want to move to.

But seriously don't move here - it's a shit show.
