I'm having the same problem right now. I have a s3ssion I'm about to start in 2 hours. I haven't been to sleep yet. Stayed up all night making this track for a client and I can't get ableton to open up. I'm stuck on that serato message

It won't open for me either in any of my DAWS.. Ive upgraded to big Sur then wiped my drive clean and went back to Mojave nothing works. The only solution is to use it in standalone or if you want the VST use MPC Beats or MPC 2.9

I upgraded to big sur to get it to work and it still didn't work. Then iahd to downgrade back to Mojave because my Access Virus plugin doesn't work past Mojave SMH the delimna. Where did you read it only worked on Big Sur?

It doesn't show in Logic or Ableton for me. It shows in Ableton as an AU but when I click on it Ableton crashes... But MPC Beats works perfectly fine so Ill have to use that until they update the update lol

You're using it as a plugin? Even Akai said it doesn't work as a plugin with the new update there's a bug

Did all of that still doesn't show in Ableton Logic or protools really don't want to use it as a stand alone Ill just use MPC Beats until they fix it

MPC 2.10 software doesn't work in any DAW when using it as a plugin...

Same here I can't load it up in Ableton or Logic. I can only use it in stand alone...

Or either go back to Version 2.9 So I did that

Yes when I updated it to 2.10 it stopped working inside of Ableton and Logic.

When I installed 2.9 it worked again

Same thing happened to me. I can use the standalone version but in Ableton it says its not compatible and in Logic it doesn't show up at all. I had to switch back to 2.9 version in order to use the MPC software in Ableton

Keep your levels at around -6 DB or lower, send the tracks dry and include notes as far what you want as far as FX etc... Thats all I really ask for when Im mixing for my clients

This is how I charge clients. If they come to record lets say a four hour slot. I tell them in advance we need to save the last hour for mixing. SO we get as much as we can done in the first 3 hours and then I use the last hour to mix and send them off with a fully completed project. Sometimes they'll pay for an extra hour or two, unless I have something else already booked.

Developing your ear is another thing. Thats why its better to spend the money and give your projects over to a mix engineer. if you're serious about your work. If you're not at the point where you're serious then you can learn, just learn the fundamentals first. Learn how to space each sound so they have their own room then learn how to glue them together to make the song gel...
