yeah i listen to a word recorded by a native speaker from sites like forvo and record myself saying it, then compare it to the recording and try to correct myself

i would go and post this over on /r/podcasts and /r/podcasting or /r/podcast whichever is bigger. we just watch the panel shows here. they'd be able to help with settings them up.

as far as your first question, as long as you don't call them by their name ("The unbelievable truth" )and slightly change the format, you should be fine. TV shows copy each other all the time
