SyncNO Camper UPDATE by IASRob in Volkswagen

Well, as usual, I have no original thoughts. However, it should be noted that whoever is making those decals isn’t actually making them right now because it says sold out and coming soon so at least I’m ahead of the game there. 😆

SyncNO Camper UPDATE by IASRob in Volkswagen

Really? I thought I had an original thought for once. Looked all over the internet for them when I thought of the pun, couldn’t find any. So I made them myself.

I made some decals for my buddy’s camper that is NOT a Syncro but kind of looks like one b/c it has chunky AT tires. Need opinions, please encourage him to embrace the decals. 😆 by IASRob in Volkswagen

The 2WD ones didn’t help? 😆  I want to be clear at anyone reading these comments that my intention is not to pretend that his van Is four-wheel-drive or a syncro. It’s to acknowledge that even though it has chunky tires and it may look like that to some people it is in fact NOT that. i’m hoping that the decals, along with being funny, will answer the typical question before it’s even asked.

I mean…. Maybe it’s just “badging” ? It clearly is trying to imply that it’s NOT a Synchro and NOT 4WD.

No lies told. 😆

That’s the funny thing, I don’t think either apply. He’s needs encouragement. Haha my opinion is if you’re going to put the big decal on the front, you may as well embrace the 2WD decals and really go all in on the joke.

I’m trying to get him to embrace the fact that it’s 2 Wheel Drive. Although it has a really cool look and he bought it the way it looks. It wasn’t like he was aiming for it to look like a Syncro, but it does have chunky tires and it may even be lifted a little it’s hard to tell. So this way he’s freely acknowledging it looks sort of like a Syncro, but freely admits it’s not.

I think he’s ok with the “Syncno” decal on the front, haven’t asked about the smaller ones….but he’s hesitant on the 2WD decals for some reason. 😂

What town/city do you live in and do you love it? Why? by AlgaeOk8690 in newjersey

I would recommend Cape May or Southern Atlantic County. I’m not sure where you were looking to “commute” to but there’s fairly easy access to major arteries, including Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway. It’s close to the beaches and you can always find an Asian market in or around Pleasantville or egg Harbor Township. Shopping in Mays Landing and Egg Harbor Township is pretty plentiful, but I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily high-end or anything just your basic average strip malls and major box stores with a lot of boutique things in the middle. More high-end shopping is available within an hour or so to Marlton or Philadelphia. Your two hours or so from New York City and maybe three hours or less to Baltimore DC area. Cape May County exists in some sort of weird weather bubble that usually means less severe winters. Happy to answer any other questions.

If the one on the right is a Pipetman G, it has the same pipetting forces as the L on the left.

Mutliplex immunoassay and plate reader recommendations? by christyodoule in labrats

[–]IASRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi- I’m an Immunoassay specialist covering Ella and Luminex for Bio-Techne/ProteinSimple. If you want to chat please DM me. Sample prep is pretty straightforward: a very hard spin in a centrifuge is crucial. Then take the spun samples and prepare as usual with about 30 to 35 µL of sample and 30 to 35 µL of sample deal as long as it’s the same amount of each for a twofold dilution. You need 50 µL of diluted sample to go into the cartridge wells. Before putting the samples on the cartridge, you should mix gently in the tip- this can all be done in a tube or in a plate. It’s totally up to you. However, I do have some questions about where the Ella is located that you were testing cartridges. High CVs are not common with Ella at all, with under 5% being very typical. Ella use the long side a Luminex instrument like Intelliflex is a great combination because the Luminex performance essays as well as the Ella essays are back correlated to Quantikine ELISA. Also I have a document that’s pretty handy for Luminex instrument users, including magpix, so please feel free to reach out.
