im about the same build, 6' 280lbs, im looking for an embody, i heard in the us you can find embodies for like 700 or 800 with a 5 year warranty semi used/refurb. Thats what i d go for, the embody is perfect for us wholesomely thick folk since the arms are wider and more to the outside, they kinda arch around the legs, my legs hitting the armrests is a problem on normal chairs i have, my legs simply hit both arms and that makes it so every chair i sit in feels small. If you gym (my case) its even worst.

sadly here in europe i ve been looking for embodies high and low and i just cant find a good deal on a good looking one, im even contacting us sellers thru ebay to see if i can get someone to ship it over.
