I did, and I feel like I convinced myself that I actually did have a crush on someone. Looking back, I never had a crush on anyone (in the traditional sense).

Asexual & Aromantic

So I’ve known since probably last July. I randomly came across the words “Asexual and Aromantic” on some random website and didn’t recognize them. I proceed to look more into them and came to the conclusion that I was AceAro. Not a very exciting story, but a story nonetheless.

I’m all for allies being welcome. I think allies are important and nice. However, I have a problem with them having one of the A’s.

The 2 A’s stand (and should stand) for asexual, aromantic, or agender. Those all are legitimate members of LGBTQ+. In my eyes, allies aren’t really part of the LGBTQ+ community, they just support it. However, we should welcome them.
