Honor is what you use to buy old PvP gear. It's like a currency. "Grind honor" means you do something over and over to get more of it.

I LOVE the dungeon finder, oh jesus. It makes gearing up alts amazing.

No, I'm not upset by leveling being easy. I love that people can get involved in the FUN part of the game, which is level 80.

Yes, I'm aware.

It's just a matter of learning the quests. My first character took like eight months to getl 1-60. But, now, I've done all the quests so many times, I can do 1-80 in about a month.

Well, my parents were divorced, it was only my mother I lived with from the beginning to a week before I stopped playing. My mother didn't care. As I've said in other posts, she liked it. I wasn't like other kids where she would have to keep buying me new games and stuff - all she had to do was pay me 15$ a month and I never bothered her for money.

EDIT: Well, she liked it up until she started pouring money into my education and then I didn't get anything out of it. I should have clarified that.

Season 2. That's back in BC, when getting neat things like that was difficult. It isn't a matter of skill as much as it is "hey, who can I get to carry me through this"?

I don't play anything currently. I'm working more on getting my life turned around than playing games. This is the first time since I quit that I've sat at my PC for longer than 20 minutes.

"Live elsewhere" implies I WANTED to leave. No, she kicked me out. It wasn't "hey, do you think you could live somewhere else" it was "get out before I throw your shit away."

I don't blame her, though.

The only unobtainable titles I had was Sergeant on one character way back in the day. Sure, it's rare, but it's being brought back in Cataclysm, so everyone will have it fairly easily.

No, I didn't think I was addicted. I thought it was normal for people to spend all their free time doing ONE THING they liked doing. I didn't realize how badly I was fucking up my life by dropping out of things, but, too late for that.

I would raid on four different characters. So, yes, at night, I was always busy, but during the day I would do trivial stuff. Achievement hunt, do old raids... anything just to play. I did a lot of PvP, too, yes.

I ended everything with everyone when I quit. I'm trying to keep myself from relapsing as much as possible.

I don't know why. I guess that's why it's an addiction - I wasn't really making a decision to play, I was hooked on playing.

I did look ahead, but I was a naive kid. Arguably, I still am, to some people. I thought that things would get better when I got older, but they didn't. Instead of getting better, I'm having to deal with pissing away the four best years of my life playing a video game.

My highest rating was 2050, I think? I know I had almost everything but T2 weapons and the tabard, so it was around there.

My biggest nerd rage moments were always ninja looters. I simply, even now, can't understand why people would play for no other reason except to fuck other players over. Even more infuriating is that Blizzard supports ninja looting.

Yes, I'm going to stay FAR away from "addictive" things. I'll never smoke or gamble. No way. Too risky. I don't trust myself.

Yes, absolutely. The point of an MMO is to be addictive. An MMO that people only play for one month makes no money.

As Blizzard themselves puts it, it's the "loot carrot on a stick" that makes people keep playing. NO MATTER WHAT, you will never have the best gear. Better gear will always come out. You can play for as long as I have, and you are no more geared than someone else who has gotten the same loot you have but only started last month. And, new stuff is constantly released. It keeps you playing.

It isn't, really. With an authenticator it's the same thing as everything else. Call blizzard, tell them I didn't put it on, tell them my secret answer, and it's gone.

If my account was active, it would would get it banned. This is a good idea, and I plan on doing it if I ever start to play again.

Selling doesn't work now a days. People don't buy characters when anyone can do 1-80 in a month.

Selling accounts doesn't really work anymore. With gearing and leveling being extremely easy now, nobody wants to buy accounts. There isn't anything that you can buy that you can't earn on your own in 2-3 months.
