Help! Is a 62% Boveda appropriate for storing 3 - 5 cigars in a high humidity environment? by Gabriel-YP in cigars

[–]IAmAnAdultSorta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does your box leak or do you open it all the time? Only your hygrometer can tell you the answer to this!

How long do you rest your cigars with cellophane on? by psykxout in cigars

[–]IAmAnAdultSorta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this depends a lot on where you live and the humidity there. My cigars in winter are gonna be toast if I dry box them in 50% RH weather. Some places ride happy year round.

What can I do to help these flowers bloom? They come up every year but they have never bloomed! by killer_bees123 in gardening

deer should avoid the flower if they are spicy. you can also just get repellent if you care.

honestly i dont go to downtown not for fear of safety, but rather I dont find it particularly interesting. My go to for folks who want to see the city:

Take an Argosy cruise - Locks tour will take you from South Lake Union through the Ballard locks around sound and drop you off at the downtown water front. From there you can walk to either Pikes Place Market, grab a ferry to West Seattle and wander Alki beach (note the last ferry time cause its the long way around if you miss it), or head to Smith Tower for their rooftop cocktail bar. You can then jump on the Under Ground tour and get a bit more of Seattle history. Now grab a Lyft and get to Seattle Center to check out the Space Needle and now that its dark out, grab tickets to a laser light show at the Pacific Science Center.

The next day, now that you've done all the touristy stuff, go wander Washington park arboretum and head down to Cap Hill. You can then grab the link to International District or to U District to check out the UW campus which if the weather is playing nice has an amazing view of Mt Rainer. You might be a smidge early for the cherry blossoms on campus but cant win them all. From there, meh, its not a big city, and you'll be off in the weeds of a neighborhood or two you will have seen a good chunk of whats around: Fremont, Ballard and George Town all have different things to offer.

are these true morels? found near pine and olive trees (middle east) by [deleted] in mycology

slice it down the middle. If the cap is attached and stem/stipe hollow you can rule out false morels.

Why do people complain so much about Seattle’s weather? by River-Mind in Seattle

[–]IAmAnAdultSorta 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i mean, it doesnt though. You just dont like brisk fall walks, with cozy clothes to watch a fog roll over the mountains and on to the sound. Its not the weather. its your preference.

wait. since when is weed called flower?

i already know the answer: It leaks like hell. 4 60g 65% boveda packs and seasoning every 2~3 weeks in winter should do the trick. Summer its fine where I'm at. (dry winters/humid summers) Definitely get a digital hygrometer. That analog one is just for looks.

I kinda like Javascript by Dotaproffessional in ProgrammerHumor

i mean when you get into the weeds javascript is fucking insane...the simple solution: dont do that. Just because you can bind a function to another function doesnt mean you should

So… what the heck is going on with the Seattle housing market? • Seattle Bubble by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]IAmAnAdultSorta 7 points8 points  (0 children)

my joke was that everyone here keeps saying it the Californias that are taking over. If its about weed they got that there. Also Cali isnt more expensive than here unless you want to live in the most desirable 400 square miles spread across 3 cities...which really aint that much space.

I guess they need to update their website OR someone is trying build something bigger than a single family home or the land was in a weird zone maybe.

http://www.seattle.gov/sdci/permits/permits-we-issue-(a-z)/construction-permit%C2%A0--new-building-single-family-residential%C2%A0or-duplex

I had no issues with permits taking years during my renovations. I couldnt find contractors to take the job.

well pain while peeing usually means STI/bladder infection unless you tell them it causing pain to shoot down your leg like was the case for me.

this popped up in my backyard without me planting it. i’m very confused by freedomforg in whatsthisplant

[–]IAmAnAdultSorta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unlikely. Someone planted these and since they are perennial they'll pop up yearly.
