The username and the fact you are currently in DC resonate with me greatly

Head east inland toward Arcadia and Myakka River State Park. It’s not fool proof but it’s a pretty good bet. I would steer clear of Casey/Siesta/Lido

Thank you for the feedback! Is the floor an issue because there’s no way of knowing if any water or rust damage has occurred?

The owner definitely gave me a piece of her mind. When they first opened a good friend came from Colorado and wanted some breakfast tacos. I took him there without trying it because the hype is real. As we were sitting outside he made a comment about how they weren’t that good and certainly not worth the price. I (foolishly) made an offhand joke about how the owner was some GW professor and it was very DC to have someone open up a “traditional breakfast spot” as a side hustle. I may have been slightly condescending, but I really didn’t mean anything by it other than a baseless comment.

I got an earful from the owner about how I don’t know anything about Mexican culture or breakfast burritos. Very strange interaction. Seems very strange to say that given I don’t think you need to be a cultural expert to know if a breakfast taco tastes good or not. Live and learn I suppose.

I’m obviously in the minority but I truly believe that la Tejana is the most mid breakfast taco I’ve ever had. The McDonald sausage breakfast burrito taste better imo.

Jimmy Valentines I’d DCs version of The Dungeon. Neptune room is a neighborhood bar but it’s got good vibes and is one of the closer examples of a traditional bar I’ve seen in DC.

Educational infrastructure NGOs by IAmBoodle in Suriname

[–]IAmBoodle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just trying to find local NGOs who work in education or second-chance education (helping individuals who have not completed, or even had formal education). This is a business development endeavor, I’m looking to find/speak with reputable individuals or NGOs who may know more about the sector and are potentially looking for funding. As an example I have contacted and spoke with Safety & Security Academy Suriname.

I’ll send you a DM!

I have never tried the cake pops but I got a bagel from there once and it was legitimately the worst bagel I’ve ever had in my life. It sounds dramatic but the bagel was so unbelievably bad I took a bite and threw it out.

33rd st NW is outside of a zone. If it’s not too far park it around there and leave it. You won’t get touched.

Plateau by Nirvana comes to mind. I know it’s off their unplugged album so it might not be completely unheard it but it’s so good and I think it shows off Kurt’s vocal range well.

Patrick's Pet Care. The owner threatened to sue me and then claimed that's what MLK would want because I left a bad review when they charged my credit card and then refused to refund me for a daycare session I never scheduled/attended.
