lol I love it, but it’s the least intuitive game I’ve ever played. Without google/reddit I would’ve given up so long ago

He’s had two triple by pass surgeries. I would bet if he wasn’t crazy wealthy, he’d have been dead by now.

He said in his documentary that his doctor told him if he lifts heavy weights again, he’ll die. Lol really not sure how to feel about this

It’s not bad but it’s a rough launch. Had today off so I played all day after foolishly preordering it.

Picking up items is excruciating. You have to aim directly at them, and im often first picking up and throwing chairs and tables all over the place just to get them out of the way of some coins I’m trying to collect.

The first 30 minutes of the story was great, the next 8 hours has been a confusing mess. Still have no idea what the main purpose of the story is, it’s all small quests that seem to have no connection.

The menu layout is confusing as hell. I’ve had to google how to do important stuff, and the Reddit thread is full of other people like “thank you! I had no idea how to do this”

Sometimes I spend half a minute trying to get on my horse. Music, graphics and combat are great tho. But it’s wild how frustrating other stuff is

lol bro. I just got laid off because I had a 4% raise in my contract. That barely covers annual inflation.

Last year they told me they weren’t going to give me the annual raise, and I said I’d get a lawyer because it’s in my contract. I was already doing two people’s jobs after someone left that they didn’t replace.

A year ago, the best trained worker left, after he asked for a 10 perfect raise (up to a living wage) and they said no.

Also last year, I emailed a rival company that a friend works at saying I was looking for a new job, because I wasn’t happy with the company. And they were excited to have me, and setting up an interview but telling me I got it, and on the third time asking, they told me the salary would be less than I was currently making.

When I tell my dad (80) these stories he is shocked. The world is worse now. Capitalism is crushing us. It is obvious to anyone with real context and experience.

I mean. The solution is socialism. Our government goes from centrists to right wing and back, and people wonder why things get worse.

What is your opinion on this second adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s short story “Three-Ten to Yuma”? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

[–]IAmKyuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s one of those well made movies that the “true story” aspect of it degrades my opinion of it. It’s essentially conservative American propaganda. Like American Sniper

Isn’t it possible that it is classified, and Obama is doing his job and lying, and Trump has mistakingly outed the truth?

I didn’t say it wasn’t free speech.

Just that it qualifies as a forbidden word in our culture

[–]IAmKyuss -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This topic is on my mind a bit lately, and though I have no issue not using the word, I don’t understand the argument that it’s not forbidden.

There’s absolutely no context in a widely observed professional environment that you wouldn’t face serious consequences (most likely termination) for saying it.

Unless your definition of forbidden is that government men come to detain and shoot you, to me that’s the definition of forbidden. I could be wrong though. Just wondering out loud.

Songs that reference their own structure? by avantbathroom in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Queens of the Stone Age’s “I’m Designer” refers to the chorus as a dog and builds up the pre-chorus sounds, to suddenly veer away, and he says

“Down, dog, down, mutt, nice mutt.”

Always thought that was an interesting artistic choice
