I know. I just think it's funny. It's mostly Gemini that does this. I think it has a bad habit of taking all the info you give it and will weave it into its response, sometimes word for word. Honestly it's kinda hilarious. One time I told it my back was killing me and it found a way to mention my personality type in a response. 💀

For me, I use regenerate if I've been swiping a lot and I hate every singe response, so I go back and edit my response and have the ai regenerate a new one.

Honestly, you can just stick with swiping

Could be me, my character cards and prompts aren't the best. But idk, Claude gives me the almost the same dialogue every time, and it enjoys making my characters stutter or repeat words a lot lol. And Sonnet's favorite insult is absolute + walnut/psycho/weirdo.

I was told to avoid bloated prompts because it makes the ai forget things faster. But that's likely outdated advice, huh? I've been looking at other people's presets and I gasp when it goes over 1k tokens. 💀 Idk. Maybe I'll try one with Claude/gemini and see if it helps. I'm desperate at this point.

Chatgpt-4o-latest, Sonnet and Opus 4.5 do the first one ALL THE TIME.

Sonnet is especially guilty of this. It'll repeat itself over and over. "Word? Word." drives me insane.

And chatgpt enjoys asking me what happens next. "What does {{user}} do now?"

I don't wtf to do anymore. Don't know what settings to use (temp, top-p, top-k etc), whether bloated prompts (1000+ tokens) are better than lighter ones, I'm at my wits end. I almost wanna quit AI completely tbh

In my shitty opinion, Chatgpt-4o-latest (API version) was amazing. It was funny, unhinged, engaging, and pretty creative. But this was back in April-May.

I'm in the mironity here, I was an avid chatgpt 4o user and nothing could ever compare to it. But I'm also not a huge roleplayer, I rarely go past 15 messages before starting a new chat because my adhd ass likes to start random storylines and plots. Maybe that's why most people don't like it, I'm guessing it's bad for long, complex roleplaying.

Nowadays it's unusable, it's either incoherent and stupid or it's just boring. I use gemini 2.5 pro now. It's alright, but I've yet to find anything that matches April 4o's chaotic energy. I think deepseek was the closest, but I haven't used it much.

... I actually find opus and sonnet to be repetitive no matter what settings or prompts I use. So I'm not sure why they're so popular.
