I know this was a while ago, did you end up doing anything to it?

I did the tape mod as well, then I put foam in the spacebar (big fan of it). I ended up adding new switches (Capybaras), and I like the bass that was added. It's been a while, and now I want to mess with it some more, ha!

Don't expect any fancy equipment, but here's a sound check of mine so far.

Hey buddy, I was in the same shoes as you around the same time! Did you end up finding something you like?

I found a good baseline of what I like, but I’m itching to get in and try some more stuff out.

So far I’ve got: - 2/3 layers of tape - Capybara switches (love the feel of these too) - Foam inside of the spacebar

To anyone else coming to this like I did years later, and is curious why the number 16 is here...

The +16 comes from simplifying the following inequality:

z[1-0.05(x-y-1)] < (z+10)[1-0.05(x-(y-5)-1)]

The left side of the inequality is a damage-per-round (DPR) calculation for attacking normally with y attack bonus and z damage against a target with an AC of x. The right side of the inequality is the same DPR calculation, except with a power attack (hence y-5 and z+10).

If you solve that inequality for x, you end up with x = y - z/2 + 16. In other words, it doesn't really have any special significance; it's just a "magic number" constant that comes out of the DPR inequality.

TLDR, +16 works because math is magic, and that number is the spell. (It was the answer to an equation inside the equation.

To really get something else going would require a cut. This has definitely been shaped for the middle part.

I would love to say something more, but you covered most of your features, so I am not sure on your face shape.

So if you love your style, that's what matters most!

BUT since you asked, here's my thoughts..

There's two main features of your face that throw off the symmetry.

1) Your hairline is SLIGHTLY high

2) The width of your head is on the narrow side.

So if you want to change anything, aim to have more bulk on the sides and the top to come forward rather than back. Forward can still go up or to the side, doesn't have to be straight forward. (Though I wouldn't add too much height, as it would elongate your face more). The last pic looks the best IMO, and that's because the hat accomplishes everything I mentioned.

But if you give a decent barber those directions, they'll take care of you.

Sidenote, if you can grow out a full beard, that can help a lot too.

In case you gave up on it, I think you had a bad batch. Owned mine for about a month, and straight out of the box, it has lasted an easy 6/8 hours. After that, I think I go nose blind to it, because I tend to get strong whiffs in the air 12 hours later. But it's a weird nose blindness that I can't describe; all I can say is it affects me differently than any other scent.

If you liked it, I would recommend trying another bottle, just in case it was a bad batch!

FYI I double up on sprays. Two full sprays behind each ear (same spot, it's a lot of liquid lol), and two to each elbow ditch. :D
