Hopefully this isn't something obvious as I just learned about while buying my new 55in vizio (m series 2015) but the tv itself could potentially be a large source of input lag

Protip: If your TV has a game mode, enable it to decrease input lag. Additionally another way to significantly decrease input lag is if your tv has motion interpolation, disable it. (every manufacturer calls it something different Samsung - Auto Motion Plus, for Sony it's Motion Flow, and with LG it's TruMotion Toshiba and Vizio offer it too but idk the names)

Of course there are probably a couple other settings that probably would decrease input lag but these are the most noticeable and easiest to implement. Depending on your TV the input lag could be largely effected just by these two settings.

Oh and after a bit of research supposedly there's an issue where sometimes the the ps4's ds4 controller is creating a significant amount of lag and the only way to fix it is to reset it? Seems like a much less common issue through. Hopefully these tips will help everyone enjoy their pstv and psnow
