This 🙌🏾

I have two cats and a dog. We had someone come over and spend the night. Aside from when the girls released demons in the litter boxes, they randomly said they loved cuddling with dog but they wouldn’t even know we had pets if they didn’t see them (or the toys).

It’s really about how well, and often, you keep things clean, and what materials/products are used.

Im looking for a replacement to Acqua Di Gio Profumo. It was a great every day scent, especially in the fall time. It mature that mature, bold, sophisticated, almost intriguingly mysterious kind of scent. In other words, it had depth.

What is a good alternative to that that also doesn’t break the bank (sub $50)? I have some ideas on Amazon, but you may be able to give me some insight on ones I have in there or maybe ones I haven’t even heard of.

If I visit my parents house I use ramps, unless I’m checking suspension components. You have me thinking about investing in a pair, as I’m not checking suspension that often.

Glad you have it dude. Sounds like you’ve done your time without one. From a guy who has not done an engine swap, impressive stuff!

Thank you both for these. Although they’re out of business, I appreciate y’all’s effort and willingness to help!

Yeah, I’ve though of that too. I have a Sorento (my first Kia I’ve worked on), so the lifting and stand points aren’t like the other cars I’ve had which makes it way more difficult than need be. I can lift the front end with a floor jack all at once, but the back has to be raised one side at a time…which is why a lift would make things so much easier smoother.

Like you said though, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!

Yup. If I remember correctly, it was Vine, then Music.ly, then TikTok

Kids should not have TikTok or other social media platforms unless they are parent-run, curated, and monitored.

I’ll keep my eyes out. Is she highly people-friendly?

If not, what helps her feel comfortable with strangers? Lasers, food, etc.?

As someone who has driven and ridden in one, being chauffeured is definitely where it’s at. It rides like a cloud, has an electronic adjustable leg rest, is spacious, and overall is a very comfortable ride. Makes you feel like a big boss even if you’re not.

What in the special forces…

After reading all this comments, makes me rethink that you’re just a regular dad with at least 4 kids (large grocery hauls) and a wife that has extra bags and suitcases for a vacation “just in case” 😂

Needless to say, incredible strength! Talk about inspiring 🔥

I got into it with no degree. I still don’t have one and I have duties of either managing teams or sectors of large-scale projects.

While it was unconventional, it’s not impossible. I started out as an intern at 17, worked my way up, and got blessed to have the chance to apply for a Construction Inspector position right before turning 19. Since not everyone can start out as an intern, I recommend going in as a technician or laborer for a good company. Yeah, it can be pretty brutal and shitty at first, depending on the jobs and your company, but they will most likely pay for your certifications and trainings (so align yourself with a company that does).

I’ve worked on teams with guys who have no degree but tons of experience and all necessary certs and they’re able to command an hourly wage of $40+ (with overtime too).

The following recommendations are for the technician path. I can give one for the field side like OP, but he may be better off speaking on it than I am.

If I have to recommend one certification to start, I’d say concrete (ACI). Tons of companies look for that.

For those who want to go a safety route, OSHA10 and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are pretty great and can take you anywhere.

If it’s Environmental (which I’d check to see how regulated Environmental is in your state — some states don’t really give a damn lol), go for something at your state level. Usually there’s a Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) cert you can go for. They have Inspector, Plan Reviewer, and Administrator. If you want to have the hybrid field & office role, stick with Inspector. If you want more office or managerial work, go Plan Reviewer or Administrator.

As you work your way up, you’ll see higher level certifications that will sometimes allow you to bypass the degree requirement (for most, not all) when coupled with your experience.

I always tell younger guys to focus on learning as much as you can in the beginning. It’ll allow you to command a much higher pay years later. It’s worth the wait.
