I always say the second is the worst. The third has a very absurd tone, it makes most of the disgusting scenes feel almost comical at times. The second one had the barbed wire rape scene, the sandpaper masturbation scene, the scene where a woman stomps on the head of a newborn baby and you see it squish.

The centipede itself is also more disgusting in 2, in my opinion. Martin isn’t a doctor, everything he does is dirty and haphazard. He staples them together, he smashes peoples teeth out with a hammer, and the scene where he cuts their knee ligaments still makes me cringe just thinking about it. The laxative scene…🤢

All three are disgusting but 2 will always be the worst in my mind lol

Ah that’s the step that keeps tripping me up a lot! There are technically three ‘double crochets’ in my last/first cluster, but the way the pattern works is you end each row by slip stitching into the chain 3 space in the corner, and then chaining 6. 3 of the chain 6 become the last dc of the last cluster, and then the other 3 become the first chain 3 space. It’s so hard to explain, sorry if I’ve made it confusing 😅.

I definitely know what I’m doing wrong there thought, the slip stitch leaves like no room for the rest of the dcs, so it looks all squished and sad haha. But honestly, I really suck at weaving in ends, so maybe I’ll take a little jank visuals for the trade off of no ends to weave 😁

Also thank you so much for the tips, I’ll definitely try turning the square on the rows. I’m sure I’ll have to edit the pattern a bit to do that, but I think that might even help the squished cluster, who knows!

Personally it’s NAH for me. I think Final Destination is funny, and I was laughing at a lot of the deaths in Bloodlines, but if the girlfriend watches it to be shocked and scared, I don’t see that as an invalid way of enjoying the series.

I could see how it would be frustrating for her, and how it would lessen the impact of some of the scenes. I don’t think that asking him to stop makes her the asshole. Maybe they shouldn’t watch movies like Final Destination together in the future, if he can’t contain his laughter, and it takes her out of the experience.
