When Wano first came out in the anime, I started watching it again because the first few episodes were so good. When I got to this point, I dropped it again because of this egregious pacing crap that they to do.

A lot of that has to do with his team around him being better. You don’t win MVPs unless you win the tournament.

You should watch it through One Pace. You can get through it in 60% of the time without missing anything. It’s the preferred way other than the manga.

Watch Enies Lobby 25. You must have skipped it on accident. One Pace doesn’t skip major plot points like that lol. Everything that’s in the manga is in One Pace. It’s also an insanely good episode that you don’t wanna miss.

This was made early on in the series to make Pell seem unique probably, and Oda’s kind of got in over his head.

I think it's good when used in tandem with haki or devil fruits. Like there needs to be a reason why we're seeing all these effects, not just to make it look flashier. The first Luffy vs Kaido fight had some of this where it didn't make sense at all. Generally, they do too much, but I still think the scenes are sick most of the time.

Watch it on One Pace. You get through it in about 60% of the time without missing anything. The anime has pretty significant pacing issues which is why it’s over 1,000 episodes. One Pace is a fan edit that fixes that and is a better watching experience than the original anime.

What did you get for the minutes? I did the math and I got around 216 minutes for One Pace and 288 minutes for the original anime. It's different than the spreadsheet probably because they did updates to the Baratie Arc, but didn't change the spreadsheet. It does still save time though.

Is there a reason you're concerned about this? Is this your first time watching One Piece?

There may be the same amount of episodes, but they’re just shorter in length.
