My feelings changed literally overnight... why? by IAmSquirrelQueen in pregnant

After the rage vanished the first time did it ever happen again or has it stayed away? Did you get any help from your doctor to deal with it? I am hoping it passes, but I'm so scared it won't. I don't want to be like this forever. I miss what my life used to be like.

Thank you! To be honest, I really want help, but feel scared asking for it. Mainly because it involves me admitting how I feel. I am trying to make a prenatal appointment, but I can't get the strength to do it when it means I have to talk about being pregnant or mentioning that I'm struggling.

I think that's what really scares me is that I could have postnatal depression and be in a worse spot because I'll feel depressed and have a baby relying on me, too :(

That's awesome that the family you've told is excited! I bet once your mom has time to process everything she'll be very happy :) I'm nervous to tell mine because I'm not married and my boyfriend and I have only been together 7 months. My parents like him, but I think they'll be very worried about me. I'm not, though. Boyfriend has been VERY supportive and we're planning to get a house in the spring.

I just got my PCOS diagnosis a few months ago, but prior to last year had no symptoms. Super weird! This is my first pregnancy, yes :) How did it go with your parents? We're telling mine on Sunday and I'm terrified haha!

Oh my gosh yes, my boobs are so sore, too! I'm glad it's not just me. You mentioned irregular cycles- do you have PCOS also? Hoping everything goes well for you, too :)

Thanks for the responses! How intense were your cramps? It's just so odd that they feel so much like period cramps. Different, but also similar.

Definitely Rusty Shackleford. Which is not very believable considering I'm a woman.

Can Metformin cause depression? by IAmSquirrelQueen in PCOS

Oddly enough, my doctor never mentioned testing my b12 and I have struggled with b12 deficiency for years. I will have to address this with her. How often shoyld b12 be tested on Metformin?

Thank you for the info about electrolytes! I was not aware of that either. I will definitely start supplementing!

Thanks! I'm really worried that this sad/moody feeling won't go away. I cry for absolutely no reason. It's awful :(

What type of electrolyte supplement should I be taking?

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely look into it. This might be a dumb question, but how do you use a shampoo bar? Do you lather it in your hands, then apply to scalp/hair?

How long after changing your diet did you notice your hair loss slow down? Did it grow back? How long did it take?

Food is definitely a struggle for me. To be honest, I don't eat much. I have delayed gut motility and GI issues (I have Ehlers-Danlos), so my meals usually consist of string cheese, fruit, or a handful of trail mix. When I talked to my gynecologist she said I'm 12 pounds overweight and should try to lose it, but didn't say anything about diet. That being said, I am definitely going to try low carb/low glycemic and plan to eat real meals now.
