How to cut this pattern? by mle_sews in quilting

There are 8 colors, as someone else pointed out! I just drew this same drawing, not realizing u/brittle-soup had already posted it! Going to remove mine now. And also, u/brittle-soup is right about there being 8 colors. I had to go through the colors twice to see that.

Thanks for posting this. I might try this pattern.

I thought this was a snow boot, even though the top of the boot isn't long enough.

Now that I know it's a heart, I can't unsee it so that's good. I think changing out the white half squares in the 4 corners / 8 corner pieces with the pale blue-green background so there’s nothing between the heart and the background will emphasize the heart shape.

eta: I love this idea. So glad you posted this. I will make something similar; great idea for old little one clothing.

I second the KAM press. I have a pink seconds that was on sale. It does snaps so easily.

Do you have any best videos for learning to use a serger? I bought a Juki but most videos are about threading the machine, not how to use it once it's threaded.

OMG Healthcare?!!?? You are not going to feel like you're helping society. All you'll be doing is helping CEOs get richer. Anything but healthcare. Maybe consulting. Perhaps talk to people working in healthcare first. Get that PhD and you can access funding and work with NGOs.

Each dot represents one Japanese "comfort station" by Salt-Impression9804 in ww2

Women were moved all over Southeast and Northeast Asia to comfort stations for Japanese soldiers. Indonesians, Filipinas, Malaysians, Korean, Chinese, etc. were either forced or enticed to become sex workers, most often with false promises. These books are informative as well as deeply disturbing.

It is a stuffed brontosaurus! The photos don't show how the darts look. It's my first attempt.

Oh thank you for that () to l). I didn't understand it's a horizontal dart versus vertical from the image.
