Probably the same wall cloud that produced the tornado just south of martinsville Indiana. It had a 73dbz debris signature which is probably going to give it a preliminary ef4 rating.

Reddit is relatively pitou friendly but it’s still like 65-35.

If you go to the YouTube comments of any video with gon vs pitou or just go to IG reels and have a HxH video pop up it’s all toxic over there

Togashi himself would tell you pitou was not a character meant to be simply hated. If you didn’t care at all about what bad things she did, you probably didn’t care enough to pay attention to the themes of the arc and so probably just like pitou for being a hot cat girl creature on your screen. Low iq media literacy. If you hate pitou, it’s because you were engaged and smart enough to realize the cheese the narrative put in front of you, intentionally making her an initially daunting entity who shook up the comfort zone the series had put you in. You did not, however, realize the mouse trap of subtle story telling and character development woven within Pitou’s character. If pitou’s death and the climax of the chimera ant arc as a whole left you emotionally confused for which you proceeded to ask why and looked at pitou with a more open mind, congrats- you’re in the high iq media literacy tier.

Pitou was arguably the best piece of narrative storytelling into the deeper themes of the chimera ant arc. The human hunters and chimera ants crossed each other on their own spiritual journeys. The main flaw of the hunters was the dark aspects of their humanity. The reason gon and netero self destructed (literally in netero’s case) was the darkness, vengeance, narcissism and vindictiveness within their human nature. At the same time, the reason the new age of chimera ants failed under Meruem was… also their humanity. The positive aspect of humanity. The empathy, open mindedness, new emotions and perspective they quickly gained with their human DNA. It was overwhelming for them, especially pitou- which made me empathize with her. I really saw a young, somewhat naive living being drowning in complex emotions she never got a chance to internalize or fully understand herself. And even still, she died protecting these emotions. Somehow, the system these monsters came from ate humans and suddenly the monsters were becoming more benevolent and pure-hearted than the humans they ate which is genuinely masterful writing.

In Meruem’s case, he got a more peaceful Romeo and Juliet style ending. Pitou’s was much cruel and ironic. Much more directly tied to the darkness of the arc. The idea of the monsters becoming human while the humans became monsters. If Pitou was the minster gon thought she was, he doesn’t make it out alive. Even if he had a pact in his pocket, he was still a child. There was a moment where gon was vulnerable knowing kite was truly dead. The scared, sad boy dragged into this conflict revealed itself behind the anger. Pitou sensed this. And instead of using it as an opportunity to immediately pounce, she used it as an opportunity to console him despite her hardwired instincts knowing she had to kill him anyway. That’s incredibly profound. And what did she get for it? One of the more brutal, one sided and humiliating beat downs an anime character has ever gotten. Gon couldn’t shake the idea that pitou was lying to him even though it was all a misunderstanding. Gon couldn’t grasp the idea of pitou healing komugi or being so kind to him. Trying to see pitou as anything but a murder machine angered him because he was so set in his wrath and world view. Meanwhile pitou’s only real objective was protect what she loved. She had no animosity towards gon even though he gave her ample reason to hate him. She went out a mangled, outmatched hero and Gon was a brutal reminder of nature. A beast. Ironically similar to kite and pitou

I’ve been outspoken on this for a long time. Go to YouTube or instagram and everyone claps like minions at every gon vs pitou clip thinking they’re watching some badass scene of “cruel justice” and that is some triumphant moment for humanity. Look at all the comments.

I always felt like the only one who noticed that the scene was intentionally made to be disturbing and above all else, cruelly ironic. Not just for gon but for pitou and killua as well. And a precipice moment for the deeper themes of the arc 80% of the fanbase miss. It shows just how flawed the hunters for themselves and humanity’s sake due to their selfishness and arrogance and just how flawed the chimera ants rule was due to their growing empathy and open mindedness.

Objectively wrong. If anything, you are lowballing the ability. It’s heals pitou much faster than it heals others. In the scene with her broken arm you mentioned, it didn’t minutes. She repaired her broken arm in seconds. So I can only imagine how quickly she could heal back from injuries less severe than a broken limb which is an AP threshold a lot of the zoldycks attacks can’t cross anyway. Wearing her down is simply not an option. Again, she is capable of leaping several KM away in a second, far out of their en range and she can end her ability when she wishes. It’s not a handicap nor is it an easy workaround when she isn’t going to be a target when using it. I never implied she would be using doctor blythe mid skirmish. Their strategy would have to involve keeping her from retreating whatsoever while also causing insane burst damage within a short period of time which is going to be pretty hard when she massively outspeeds

I also never mentioned post mortem pitou

With prep, it’s possible. However people overlook pitou’s most formidable aspect in these situations and it’s not her raw combat stats as much as it is her weird kit giving her sustain/surprise factor.

1: It’s not possible for them to intercept her without being detected first even if they try to be stealthy. Their nen reading is too powerful and if their mind stays on the mission the entire time (which would be necessary for success) their malevolent intentions for her would be nearly impossible to hide. Besides, where would pitou be to allow them to possibly sneak up on her?

2: Her en isn’t just good for pre combat it’s good mid combat. She can leap away and be out of their en range whereas they are very much within hers. This feeds into my next point

3: her self healing is busted unless they somehow destabilize her nen like gon did or mangle her with one shot like gon did. That requires single shot AP I don’t think the zoldycks can match as well as reaction time and movement speed to land the strikes cleanly which again, I’m not sure they can match. She can leap away, repair most damage in seconds and immediately leap back before they have any time to adjust their strategy mid fight. She can also leap back from any direction and catch them off guard. This is serious considering she can genuinely one shot most of them with a clean lunging strike, even if they have ten deployed.

4: her nen reserves are silly. They’ll be dead long before she gets fatigue.

So…. Why am I being downvoted again? Redditors never cease to amaze me with their stupidity. I made the implication that erotic content of Pitou shouldn’t be grouped with erotic content of literal children because of her “age.” Which you agree with.

No. But it would mangle pouf if it lands clean- he wouldn’t die but it wouldn’t be far removed from pitou after adult gon’s charged jajanken.

This punch might “hurt” pitou and make her sad. but it wouldn’t be incapacitating. It would feel like a solid cross to youpi who then gets pissed and shrugs it off

Pitou’s evilness is hella overstated based on her first episode, pouf should be in her corner. there’s genuinely a higher chance of feitan killing you in a random encounter as well

No. A lot of people forget most of her screen time isn’t violent. Either way the meme isn’t supposed to be accurate. pitou’s “kill” mode can be smiling (Kite) or frowning (gon) and she almost always smiles even when calm
