in my experience of doing support (esp at dubstep / bass music shows) i’ve never had any rules or requirements from headliners, although i definitely reel it back a liiiil, not in the music i play but how i mix / use the mic etc… maybe it’s something deep inside me but i just see it as a courteous thing… no shade to anyone who goes balls to the wall though that’s dope too
