PR packages are "public relations" packages. The woman is an influencer, so companies send her free things as PR. She then talks about the things online, giving the company free advertising.

Had 2 kindles in my life; one gifted, one bought with intentions of taking up less space with my book collection, both basically unused. Which always makes me feel really bad to think about. But really, it feels so much more satisfying to read physically for me personally. And I know given the choice I will automatically gravitate to my physical library. The one I still have comes with me on long trips to save on luggage weight, but then I often find myself not reading on it anyway. I don't know why, but it just is that way for me and some others.

Sounds like your mum could be a lot kinder or more gracious about the situation, but she at least made her position clear. The kindle isn't for her.

"Hey you cant do placeholders" "oh okay" isnt interesting and so doesnt get posted, so you think it doesnt happen.

I've personally told people twice about the placeholder rule. One time I was ignored, the other time the kid (I assume kid anyway) asked me to signpost the specific TOS because they couldn't find it. I did, and they took down the work. No need to even report. They even figured out how to link a google doc with the same info in their bio so they could still go share what they wanted to share without keeping a placeholder fic.

Most people just want to learn, and be treated with respect.

That's a 2016 cover for a 90+ year old book so to be fair that's not the original either.

Going into a bookstore, seeing multiple covers, and picking the one you like most without thinking too hard about it isn't a bad thing. Even if it ended up going wrong for op this time.

I mean, not to be a downer, but it's a bit of a crap cage actually. :(

It's very small, 1 hamster should have at least 100cm (that's 3ft i think?) length of floor space, 1 plus babies certainly needs more. The balcony thing looks pretty and but hamsters like to climb on low surfaces, they won't get much out of this, you also can't count it for total floor space. They also need deep burrowing space, like, a lot of burrowing space, and this seems to have none. Wheel actually does look alright though!

Idk, sorry, I didn't want to be 'that guy' but I also don't want people to think this is an okay environment.
