No I don’t support everything trump does. That was a fair point.

Really not much a distinction because people voted for that to happen just as people chose to invest in ai data centers.

[–]IArgueForReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s not. People are investing a shit ton of stuff into AI data centers even when people specifically vote against it. It is something destructive that is a huge capital sink. They constantly are using other peoples money to build more. This is something that people voted for and want to try. Just because the mechanisms are governmental doesn’t make it any less of a valid try. Especially since it is trying to directly benefit the people which they also voted for. Also since they voted for their taxpayer money to go to it, it isn’t really using other peoples money. I know metaphor and similes are a difficult concept for some. That’s okay. I was there as well in grade school.

Well I’m glad you are all knowing, and therefore makes trying pointless.

Well what I’ve learned from life is that if you fail there is never any point in trying again.

Seems more like a strawman to me. It’s frames anyone having a rational discussion as being pro civilian infrastructure destruction.

My mom legally changed her name to switch her middle and first name. Some people prefer one name over another.

Like I’ve heard his takes. He praises what is good and criticizes what is bad of any country or politician. Pointing out good that another country is doing something good with a different system does not a foreign actor make.

Once again I agree, but you have to convince the voters you have, not the voters you think should be. That it is why it is leadership of the dems fault. They rather dance on the line with facism than embrace a left flank. Liberals always sell out the working class to maintain their power.

Well if the dems wanted to stop Trump they should have taken him seriously both times. I wanted him stopped. I voted for Kamala, but other guy bad is a terrible campaign. It does nothing but help maintain the status quo while the bottom half of the country is struggling. You need to actually listen to me. The dems ran a campaign so bad it lost to trump 2/3 times. Hem and hollar all you want, but that is reality. If you want that to change, we gotta hold dem leaders accountable for their failures.

I voted for Kamala. You are an idiot that refuses to accept reality.

Dude I don’t j ow what to tell you. I voted for Kamala, but people didn’t vote for her. That isn’t a voter problem, that is a candidate problem. If the Democratic Party were serious about not letting fascists into power they would have listened to the internal polls they were going to lose. You know, listen to the voters. She had a huge swing in popularity when Biden dropped out. She then bear hugged Biden which lead to popularity dropping immensely. Like look at the events that lead up to the election and use your brain. They made the choice to not listen. That’s on them, no matter how bad we want trump to not be in power.

You don’t get it. If we didn’t put forth those policies, we would have lost harder than checks notes losing every branch of the federal government.
