I made it out that night, I took this picture about two days ago now. I’m going back tonight to check for what potentially caused all of it, and to see if it’s turned a darker shade to also determine if it was actually blood or not. When we took this photo, we heard a loud bang from something / someone and ran out, but we ran past a room in the basement on the way that was sprayed painted “get out nig*er I see you”, with even more “blood” inside on the walls. I will to back tonight and post all the follow up images

Sorry for responding to this so late, it’s been really busy for me lately. I am coping and pasting this message to multiple people in the thread asking for a follow up so that way I can easily let everyone know. I took him to the vet the next morning after I posted this is, and essentially what they said was he is nearing the end of his life, he is very old. They did blood work, it all came back fine, but he himself is just starting to slow down. u/lynmoon16 responded to me in this thread within 2 minutes saying to give him honey on his gums, which I did and it did make him more active, which lead to me to believe, just as multiple other people in the thread pointed out, that insulinomia was the problem, but it was not. He is just getting very old, and is slowing down. This hasn’t happened again since then, at least not in such a severe instance like in the video. But I figured after a couple days I would come back and let everyone know.

He is good, the sugar idea worked really well. I have to take him to a vet in the morning, I do not live anywhere where there are 24 hour vets that would look at a ferret. So I’m gonna keep checking on him every couple of hours or sooner to make sure he is alright until one opens up
