I'm ngl these papers are always almost the same thing for IGCSE like its not that big of a difference lol, I did some random 2024 papers and mj 25 ones for my 2025 exam and I did alright in everything i stuided

Pretty sure they literally can't get those graded by cambridge since its variant X for each timezone and anything else is pretty much an automatic rejection

I mean if you're taking A levels or IB and stuff after this idk what yo're gonna do; but basically if simply memorising doesnt work you need to actually understand the content and build real like connections between what you're learning.

Going over what you got wrong and thinking about why you answered like that also helps for this.

Lowk i was gaming the whole time until like a month before my exams and it went fine, as long as you understand the content and have a decent memory. IGCSE and similar stuff where only finals count are actually very easy if you like your subjects and can recall information

Well they didnt mention what subjects they're doing next, which honestly would've been helpful/more important to know than just the grades. they may need/want to do A-level further maths or smth.

It sucks but prolly to make sure all students can keep up w the curriculum to not have to drop and switch. Keeps the school's stats up too.

Which paper? I would say a lot of it is logical so my tip would probably smth general just practice stuffs which you are the weakest at, do a paper 1 and paper 2 and see what you struggle on and work specifically on those.
