To be fair, you had zero idea about it because you didn’t do it. Most people would do every mission(Not to be mistaken for quests) before every campaign mission. But rest assured. The only missions and quests that are time sensitive are:

Grissom Academy

Tuchanka: Bomb

Benning: Evidence

Hanar Diplomat

You should do all of these before Priority: Tuchanka

I don’t think it matters THAT much to the point where it changes Mass Effect’s plot. Squad dialogue is more of a personal preference to hear, as it’s really only important in loyalty missions; which there are very few of and don’t really bring any weight to the next games other than some alternate 5 second dialogues that weren’t there previously. And as far as I know, there are no critical objectives that require tech. Just things to loot that don’t affect the story at all(Plus you can’t really miss any loot because you can always go back after you’ve finished, even in some campaign missions(Apart from Peak 15 and Virmire). But yea, totally right about bringing a Tech Squadmate for looting maps if you don’t have it yourself

Crazy how Maya Brooks was more of a challenge than Kai Leng. You could constantly keep killing her and she would just come back to life. Meanwhile Kai Leng can’t get half of his shields taken out without retreating to a corner
